Yeah, nice logo indeed.

Unfortunately it will take a lot more than a logo change to recover the lost market value... Cry

Any news on the hardfork? Will it happen anytime soon?  Huh

I like the new logo for TEK a lot. HOT!!  Cool

While the full-res pic of TEK logo is looking good, the small logo i.e. on Cryptsy looks dark and gray.

I suspect your monitor Cheesy It looks slightly dark on cryptsy compared to the full size image, but it looks good. Didn't look grey at all to my old eyes. Very nice logo, and I was a fan of the old one.

@dannyvjp

In debug try "resendtx"
If that doesn't work try "check wallet" followed by "repair wallet".
Probably check is not needed using repair, but it does not hurt.
Make sure you have backed up wallet.dat !

If I could add another suggestion.

Maybe on next hard fork improve the POW reward to something like 10 or 100 or such, that way POW can mine some blocks instead of POS.

Since 40% of a giant minted account is going to way overcome any amount of POW rewards anyway, this could act as another way to halt difficulty manipulation.

PoW reward increase or decrease will not do anything to change the PoS difficulty...

Right but someone right now is doing POW to lower the difficulty of POS because the pos reward changes based on how frequent POS occurs

PoW requires investment in the form of equipment and electricity.  Typically, though not always, miners sell enough of the coins that they mine in order to pay the bills of said mining... or something close to minimize immediate loss while trying to gamble on the future of a coin.  Increasing the PoW reward, in my opinion, will only flood the two exchanges that don't really have the buy support for it.

Take it for what you feel it's worth.

Don't worry about Tekcoin.  Prices of alts always drop when BTC goes up.

Can anyone help me here?

I was casually mining tek as a longshot probably a year ago. Let it go after I got sucked into important life events...

I have to be more than one wallet behind. Can I upgrade to newest wallet even if I'm way behind?

If anyone helps me with this, step by step, I will tip out 5%-10% of whatever is in my wallet. Could be anywhere from $50-300.

Cheers!

This is not first come, first serve. I will give preference to posters who clearly are Tek supporters first.

Absolutely you can update and shouldn't have to do anything fancy.  Just save your current wallet.dat to a backup location first to be safe.  Should be as easy as Install new version of TEK.  Let it sync up.  If it has issues delete everything in the teak data directory except wallet.dat and try again from scratch.  No tip needed  Grin

Hi Smiley

Here is the how-to for Windows:

The easiest way to update to the latest wallet is to backup you wallet.dat file (under C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\tekcoin) somewhere safe.
Then delete all the files in this folder.
Launch the new tekcoin-qt.exe file (v2.3.0.0 is the latest to date) and let it sync.
Once the wallet is synced, close it.
