Tekcoin no need coin control to have minim coin to stake ... right ? Just send coins and wait staking reward after 30 days

Send the coins to your wallet and close it, if you wish. The coins will age even with a closed wallet. After 30 days, open the wallet, let it sync, unlock it and wait for the results. This is the basic procedure and it works very well. However, once your are familiar with this basic steps, you can start to thing about opening your wallet according to the difficulty in order to maximize stakes and so on.Honestly, I use only the basic procedure and I'm very happy with the results.Good luck and welcome to TEK!

% is variable based upon difficulty but, near 40% right now. Some only open wallet
when % is near 40% - I usually leave my wallet open and do not care what % is.
I figure the compounding effect of getting them sooner helps balance it out. My
problem is, I would probably forget to open it when % was high.

I have staggered my blocks - at least 1 or more each day over the 30 days so,
I am always getting something.

Since you get a larger amount for blocks older then 30 days, for me it makes sense to have one BIG block.

I accomplish 3 things this way: First, I only have to worry about one stake per period, and if I have to wait for difficulty to drop it is not too big of deal, as I will be paid a larger amount for waiting.

Second, I don't contribute to the micro-staking mess.

And third, since my one block has become quite large, when I do unlock to stake, it is pretty much instant.  Once i do stake, I go to coin control and move all blocks into one again. (including any incoming transaction for that month.)

Initially, anything I do mid month may not stake, which is OK as it is usually fairly small in comparison to my large block. If a smaller block comes in mid month, say from a purchase or transfer,  I do have the option of leaving the smaller block alone for 45 days then allowing that to stake (at the same time as my next stake on the large block) then roll it all together.

It is a bit of a game, but fun. if we all used coin control, we could better control difficulty.

Have fun!

Perhaps by the same method you used Gribgo, change them into a coin that does have a working wallet, then transfer out?

My method was for getting out BTC from Cryptsy.. so I suggested to buy some coin that can be withdrawn from Cryptsy -HBN, DMD .. some other coins.. but tek wallet is closed at Cryptsy.. so no point to spend your btc to buy tek and then what? sell tek for btc back and buy another coin? %(

Did not realize it was BTC you were trying to move Gribgo.  Just stumbled on this:  http://bitcoinist.net/cryptsy-has-moved-out-of-their-building-unannounced-nowhere-to-be-found/  Looks grim for Cryptsy.

Now that's what I call running with the money.

Lol, I fucking hope those cryptsy bastards get found, tried, and sentenced forever.

On a positive note, cryptopia is doing great. Even went up as high as 1500 satoshis per tekcoin when I woke up earlier.

I'm going to be very happy when I next sell my partial mined Tek  Grin

thanks for advice

I have dedicated server windows - put all wallet there for staking

what i mean maybe i will daily send coins to my TEK wallet ( i will start mining with my asic ,,, trading ,, buying )
so everyday have coins to send my wallet
i must unlock wallet for pos but what to do next when i send coins again

7/1/2016 I already sent coins
8/1/2016   Today also i want send coins ,,
9/1/2016  tomorrow also send coins

so later after 30 days ,,, i will daily have rewards ,,, right Huh

There will be some variance. With TEK, this is mostly the case, but from time to time there will be blocks that take longer than normal. With most staking coins, the variance is very high. With TEK, you're strategy is pretty sound. Just don't panic if there's a day where nothing stakes followed by a day where two or three blocks stake.

Buy Bitcoins with Paypal, Credit card, or other methods. Send me a PM or a text to 208-451-2665.

@Joebwan  Thanks for the update! I told you guys something bad was going on there. Who ever still has coins on cryptsy I advise that you get them out of there as soon as possible. Convert btc and ltc and Tek to something else and transfer them out. It looks like to me they are relocating in China to avoid the government crack down. Perhaps as I said before someone hacked them and the stole coins. I wonder when we will hear what really happened.

I got everything off Cryptsy two months ago when this forum started reporting the iffy withdrawals.  Since then I've spent a bit of time looking back and wondering if that was a mistake.

Well, it's pretty clear now that it wasn't a mistake and I'd like to thank everyone who brought the situation to light.

imo, it no longer is of any interest what prices are on Cryptsy.  The price is zero if you can't withdraw.

I've been playing with fire, using bitebi9 for small trades, not risking too much money. I made some 'interesting' deals and successfully withdrew them without too much trouble. However, I've just encountered some Cryptsy-style problems in trying to withdraw some Tek - "We are sorry, an unexpected error has occurred".

Extreme caution advised if trading on biteb9.

Yup don't forget to credit me! I was warning about cryptsy long time ago.

I went to their website when it was first mentioned here and immediately hit the "x" button. If an exchange can't be bothered with good looks, then they need to spend some money advertising that they are live (for example yobit). If someone is that cheap to do either, then that's a red flag/scam alert.

Try restarting your wallet every time it stalls. This is a common fix-it for all altcoin wallets. Try also getting rid of cookies and other memory depleters from your computer with Piriform's highly regarded Ccleaner. Free version:  https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

Good luck!

Yeah a long time. There is a bootstrap at the OP but not sure the last time was updated. Too late for you now, you better off just keep doing what you are doing until it synced.

i havnt had any issues with sync in a long time. here is what is in my .conf   reservebalance = 100000000
now that will keep me from staking by default each time i start the wallet. when i want to stake i enter "reservebalance false" into the console
i dont use any nodes... i just started my wallet and had 8 connections right away
