The dev's last post to this this thread was 9 days ago. Not exactly a disappearance but at the same time not really a very active development  activity.

After the Cryptsy meltdown, this coin need to gather new supporters and that can only be achieved by active development.

i am easily reachable through pm or on skype. Crapsy ruined me 100% lost everything i had worked for and saved for over 2 years so yeah things are slow atm. Remember this is a no premine coin, there is zero funding for development unless it is out of my pocket or donated. I have no advantage, i am likely not even a "whale" TEKcoin holder. This coin will be what we make of it as a community, not what one or 2 "developers" make it.

Time to dump tek

Price keeps going downward for TEKcoin. You can check Coinmarketcap to verify this. Can anyone tell me why is this happening? Is this a result of dumps or what happened with Cryptsy? Each time the price goes down, I keep loosing money but I don't dump all my coins yet, because I have hope that the price might recover sometime.

people complain and bitch and moan.. but they do zero to increase marketing, sales or development. Its simple more supply less demand means price is down. who and where are they promoting and selling TEKcoin? Me spamming Cryptsy chat box was the main source of advertising TEKcoin as it were. who and where is that getting that done now? Very simple you want price to go up.. put in time and money for promotion and development.

I also took a serious hit on the Cryptsy meltdown. But I'm still standing! And I will support any efforts to keep this coin going the right direction. If you need a donation, ask for it!

We can raise the 0.1BTC pretty quick and get it added in few days, Yobit is way better than cryptopia volume wize and from there we can get it added on C-cex and Bittrex faster because on yobit it will generate better volume.

Very good yobit is pretty good fast deposits/withdrawals and some decent volume for select coins, and also the listing is very cheap on yobit no threat of delisting like other exchanges either

Wow, fast community response!  I am just now seeing the requests for contributions, and it looks like the goal is already met.  Is there yet another exchange we can donate to be listed on? I am happy to help, and would have with this last one. You all just jumped too quick.

Thundertoe, Thank you for all you have done for TEK.  There are a LOT of us out here who just don't know what is happening behind the scenes, and when we see our investments suffer, we tend to get cranky.  Speaking for myself, I had no idea what your situation is.  We are not looking to you to do this all for us.  What we are hoping for is leadership.  

I believe based on how quickly this exchange donation thing just happened, that you have a community of folks who are willing and able to act. We just need specific direction.

Many of us had our asses handed to us by Craptsy. Unfortunately, short of running into Big Vern in a dark ally some night, there is likely nothing we can do about this. So, we put it behind us and move on.

I am deeply invested in TEK. Like others here have said, I think it is a great coin. It has some shortcomings which can be fixed, but I would hate to see what is left of my investment go the way of the dodo, and if a little donation here and there, or some leg works would help, I am all over it.  I believe others share this view.

When asked to pummel Polo and Bittrex, we complied. We are here ready to act, just looking for direction.

Then why is the TEK team silent when it comes to updates ?
Scroll back some pages to about December last year.
Lots of ppl whining as they are not happy with current POS scheme.
The great Toe himself wanted to change that and being pissed off with ppl who spread their coins.
He wanted to have min stack size of 2K and announced an upcoming hard fork which has now silently been cancelled.

Reasons for me NOT to promote this coin, save your cash and buy some other POS like TRK, 200%, more then TEK these days and you don't have to wait 30 days for it as well.
Active dev who also does a proper job of informing the users, unlike the Big Toe.

I just hope that Tekcoin could get back to the way it was. If the dev is really active, then we should expect to see some improvements for staking real soon. Other that than, it might just become another pump & dump coin. My hopes are high and I will continue to buy and stake TEK til the bitter end.

Seeing how price it is right now, looks like there has been declines over these last days (according to Coinmarketcap) Let's wait until TEK gets added to more exchanges and then this would be fixed.

If this is the case, then it should not be a problem for you to list me a few things TEK dev has started and implemented during let say, last 3 months? What projects, initiatives, promotions has he implemented? I hope we agree being a dev means more then simply set up a coin and let community do the rest. So, pls, educate me, what did he or they (if there are they) do in the last 3 months?
