I am going to need someone with mature blocks that are ready to stake to try the updated version of the source code I have compiled. I made some small changes to the staking process and need to make sure that it works. I would do this myself, but I don't have any aged blocks. Let me know and I will send you a link to the windows exe.

I can guinea pig. I have tek running in a win8 x64 vmx with current stake weight over 300 and more maturing tommorrow. If it sends me back in time, eats my coins, or loses an extraneous sock in the dryer...I'm coming for you! lol

Awesome, it shouldn't do anything. I think the worst case scenario is that your blocks won't stake with this version of the client. I will send you a link via PM, don't share it because I don't want private beta versions to get confused with fully functional public releases Smiley

I have POF-minted coins that haven't been added to my overall balance. Both of transactions have 2000 confirms and dont look like orphan.
What is that?

Well POF was a typo that existed in the wallet that I fixed in the most recent version (at least I thought I did). If the transactions have confirmations then they should be added to your balance, are you sure they haven't been?

One way to check is looking at coin control for two blocks about equal in size with about 2000 confirmations.

Mea culpa - I've confused 348 with 380... But there is profit also - got updated client after your answer:) Thanks anyway!

All strapped in and synced without incident. Stake weights are still rising, I will let you know if/when there's some stake on the table. ;p

I tried to buy some TEK today. I looked at the behaviour of the book order and concluded it was bot-driven.

I'm ready to buy, but not against bots pumping the prices.
I'm willing to buy OTC to any, with a 1% escrow (pressbar, thundertoe, tokyoghetto if one of you is interested in being the escrow - of course if you are the seller, no problem Smiley)
I have 0.3 BTC. Please make me an offer (PM only).

Thank you

Nota: if I happen to have broken some netiquette rule of OTC trading, please assume it was unintentionnal and informe me of the right thing to do in the future. Thank you.

I don't have any for sale, I am thirsty for TEK myself. I got about 75 TEK today at .00043750 from a buy order that I let sit. It would probably be much harder to get larger amounts at a time though. You might need some patience to get TEK for the price you want.

I've managed to stack tens of thousands over the course of a couple months. If you put up a buy order and leave it there someone often comes along and fills it.

The PoS difficulty is pretty low right now so I don't think it will happen anytime too soon.

Alright I am going to release v1.2 of the wallet right now. With the help of Tranz, argakiig, thundertoe, and even solarion for helping with some quick testing for me.

This should really be used as the standard base wallet for anyone new. Externally downloading the block chain is more risky for users (although faster) and new users should not be required to take that risk.

Here is the release page https://github.com/presstab/TEK/releases/tag/v1.2

So I place a big buy order so that it stands out (even if it is low) and I wait, right?

I will typically spread my buy orders over multiple prices instead of one big buy at a single price. But everyone is different.

It doesn't look sinister, it's just that the order book is thin, so when someone buys or sells a significant quantity they push the market around.

hey guys,

the explorer is up and running with the rich list (updated every 10 minutes).

you can find it here: http://tek.blockx.info/

I also went on compiling a Mac wallet.  It's been know from past builds that it might crash on some Mac versions. I tried on a few different mac I own and it works, so if it crashes for you, I'm sorry about that, I never found the issue!

You can have a try here: http://tek.blockx.info/tekcoin-1.2.0.0-macosx.dmg

Enjoy  Wink

Ahhh I love looking at the rich list!! Also I do enjoy looking at the most recent additions to the block chain and seeing how many PoS vs PoW.  Good work!

I'll send the bounty wallet over to you to do what you would like with.  Right now it has 1,225 TEK. Didn't quite get there, but got close!  Also thanks for throwing a mac os compile up!

Ahh! I'm higher on the rich list than I expected.

Also, the OSX wallet is working well on the several different macs I've tried. No crashes so far.

fwiw, I've had zero wallet crashes with the latest linux and windows wallets, as well.
