Hi do you know some good vps services that accept btc and are ok with cpu mining
Yes, if you need some just PM me.

I don't think it's worth your time. We will be out of CPU phase in no time.
Any capable GPU dev should be able to create a GPU miner in a few hours or less.

So it's all about a unique new hashalgo-combination and not so much a guaranteed CPU-phase (which doesn't exist anyway).

No that is no answer for my question , yes it's worth my time i will be ready for next launch and next new algo.Even mayby for your new coin  Grin

Ok, looking at it like this I have to agree with you.
It's always good to know the vps services market.

Has anyone gotten the Linux daemon to mine?

I'm currently mining from the Windows wallet but I would prefer to switch over to Linux if I can.

Sorry, I didn't have time to really test every system yet,
and it's late now.
Please try and compile it yourself.

I will look at it when I have a little bit more time.

I am mining with the windows wallet and I have noticed that the several machines that I have is all the balance in 9.99xxx is this normal? because I have more than 1 hour and nothing that changes and in all the wallets I use w7 x64

It needs 120 confirmations (circa 2 hours) for blocks to mature and become available.

Check the transaction tab.

how che "Check the transaction tab." in ubuntu?

Start in -daemon mode and do a getinfo.
It will show you the "immature balance".

I download Linux-Daemon: http://zettelkasten.org/zettelkastend.7z . and now?
a little guide for ubuntu 16 please

Smiley

1. Run the daemon
Code:
./zettelkastend
It will provide you with a random username and password, copy these down.
2. Navigate to .zettelkasten in home directory
3. Create zettelkasten.conf file in this directory and add the username and password provided earlier to this document.
4. Also add this to the .conf file:
Code:
gen=1
genproclimit=-1
4. Run daemon again.

Nothing seems to be happening after I run ./zettelkastend

Okay, just tested it myself, this coin does not require a username or password in the .conf file. Just close zettelkastend (ctrl-c), create the .conf file, and add the information from step 4. Then run the daemon again.

Nothing will happen visibly, but the daemon is syncing the blockchain and mining in the background. If genproclimit=-1 does not use all of your processors, just enter the number of threads instead of "-1".
run and mining but
Does not show any information during the mining? Hash rate?
the address of my zettel wallet where I find it?
Looks like we're in the exact same situation... all the same questions. Smiley

Check the transaction tab.
and they go more than 2 hours and nothing: v in the other pc happens the same it seems more a mistake of the wallet

Your pictures tell me that you have less than 1% of the net hashrate.
You should not be surprised that you don't find many blocks.

You are just unlucky. Keep going.

Hashrate will increase a lot more over time...  Shocked Sad Grin

Yes.
Download the windows wallet and go to the "mining" tab.
There you can start the CPU miner.

Doesn't get more easy than that.

GPU-miners will be available soon though.
I will collaborate with a GPU miner dev to create a built-in-GPU miner.

I will keep you updated.

New algos always get lots of attention. Especially ones with no premine, no ICO, and fair launch. I follow this forum closely every day, when 99% of ANNs are for ICOs, MN copy presale scams, and scrypt/cryptonote clones with 10% premines, projects like yours tend to stand out  Smiley

So true.

Attention everyone.

Please open and forward port 51339 to your wallet, so that more people can connect, or else this whole house of cards might come crashing down.
My two full nodes are already maxed out at >120 connections each.

Thank you.

Just 2 of them.
And I really like my hoster and don't want to send a few hundred hungry CPU-miners their way, they will hate me for that!

I only use my 2 nodes for connections, not for mining.
