I think there is no advantage of using a betting bot over an in-game auto bet. I think it's mainly on the pattern of your betting some bots do have a different type of pattern unlike in a normal in-game auto bet.

Changing seed doesn't have to do with wins/ losses. Basically it's just to show that the server's seed would match with the client's seed no matter how many times the latter's changed; provably fair.
