Loss is expected at 60 times per 1000 times = 6000 satoshis. Win is expected 940 times = 940 satoshis. Nett loss every 1x wager = 5060
This is just an expected loss though, it can always go above or below 60 depending on how lucky/unlucky you are during that session. On the wagering part I agree, i've participated in different wagering contests before and if you have the patience to bet low you can go as high as wagering x100 of your bankroll but those are dice sites with 1% house edge. x30 is not that bad considering their house edge is at 5%.
You are right, you really need to make an effort to bet as much as you can to increase your wagered amount but making your bet not so aggressive at the same time, stay discipline as you main purpose here is just to increase your wager overtime to have the opportunity to enjoy the reward once you are lucky.

This promo by the gambling sites is a very popular one, this is to encourage more bettors to play and even if some are lucky enough to win the contest, overall, they are still profitable.

I am putting it in terms of expressed loss for sure, as expected. Just like you would do at any site and at any win chance. I understand all about variance, but like you said, that's your luck factor. If you place enough bets in the long run, expected results will show up very close to actual results.

And yes, 100x is quite easy at 1% house edge sites. In fact I think I've done well over 100x on some sites, taking advantage of bonuses, rain and other things to make the 1% edge very small.

Am I wrong to think they have provably fair? I mean do they? I am checking the website now because I recall they did provably fair and as I can see they do have provably fair in big punto as well. How could anyone think that freebitco.in is scamming them when provably fair is RIGHT THERE.

Just use that function and see if you are being scammed or not. If you think they are making you lose against the provably fair function then they will be surely going down in a day, everyone will talk about how freebitco.in doesn't follow their own provably fair and scams peoples money from them and everyone will leave the website withdrawing their money. Moreover, that is not happening, do you know why ? Because, they are not. They have a dice game where the game is provably fair and can be PROVED (as in provably) that they are not scamming anyone. You are just unlucky and you want to put the blame on the website.

It's one thing to "say" you use provably fair and quite another to "actually" use it.  Newsflash,  there ARE people who have caught them changing seeds in the Scam Accusations thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045277.0).  It's also not necessary to prove anything by use of seed manipulation either.  Large samples can prove the same thing without the need for showing seed changes (which I've done that also confirms what those with changing seeds have claimed).  And it certainly wouldnt take "a day" to "go down".  There are some incredibly stupid people out here (this is where you should see yourself in the mirror if you're remove that duct tape off your face) and this thread is proof of that.  Scams last 100x or more longer than they should.  Take Bitconnect or any of the pyramid smart contract games for example (P3D comes to mind).  They last plenty long enough and are very good proof that just because something is a scam doesnt mean it's going to end in less than a day.  It also doesnt mean that there are not going to be idiots who claim that it's legit even when it's OBVIOUS that it isnt.  Just because freebitco has been around for a long time doesnt mean it's legit.  It just means that there are a lot of incredibly stupid people who use it which in turn allows it to continue running.  And I consider anyone who uses "longevity" as a means to legitimize something as one of those stupid people because longevity doesnt mean something is legit.  The clients of Bernie Madoff could tell you all about how that assumption worked out for them.

Watch me rape Freebitco.in 24x7 with my gambling bot (you can to) here: https://dlive.tv/btctrading I also do some trading there as well.

True it's not guaranteed that old gambling sites will remain legit but it's rare that you'll see most of them turn to a scam site since they're generating tons of profit everyday.

By saving every hash on all of the bets you make and check it one by one until you see something wrong. I don't know much about how provably fair works but from what I know even if their verifier says it's fair there could be a chance or other way to prove that not all rolls are fair. I'm not saying this applies to freebitcoin since I don't have proofs and I barely play on the site.

Hey Quin, regarding the Multiply Game Bonus, is my understanding on this correct? Assuming I have 0.00256 BTC bonus:

  • I have to wager at least 25 times.
  • Wager total has to achieve (0.00512 * 25)/ 0.128 BTC.
  • Maximum 10% of the wager from the bonus (0.00512) counts. Anything above 0.000512 still counts as 0.000512.

The verifier is provided for convenience but you can verify your rolls manually or use other tools. How the results are calculated is explained in the provably fair tab and you just need a hex to decimal converter and SHA512 hash generator which can be found online.

That's pretty much it. You can't cancel the bonus until the wagering requirements are met (that's what I get most support tickets about).

And again someone with just 455 tickets won 0.16 BTC in the lottery!

I had been buying over 1,000 tickets many times without any luck, so I've decided to change my strategy. From now on I'm using only the tickets I get from the free rolls. Let's see what happens. Smiley

Also I just exchanged my 1,600 RP for 500% bonus on the minimum free FREE BTC reward, and now it's 0.00000324 BTC for me, which is not bad.

Because you were stealing from freebitco.in and stealing is bad. I don't have any hopes but maybe you can try to play legit this time. Because of the botters like you, I am getting 1/3 of what I should be getting from this faucet.

Well, I haven't been to FreeBitco.in for a few years. It turns out that right now I have 10k satoshi in my wallet and I earned 0.04506873 BTC in total through my referrals with whom I shared like 0.02440395 BTC. I have 120 referrals since the times when I had been actively using this facet, and a couple of my referrals are still active (this 10k satoshi came through them, most likely). Just in case, sharing referral commissions with one's referrals was my idea

wetsuit hasn't been active since July 2018. Is he alive?

Well, I haven't been to FreeBitco.in for a few years. It turns out that right now I have 10k satoshi in my wallet and I earned 0.04506873 BTC in total through my referrals with whom I shared like 0.02440395 BTC. I have 120 referrals since the times when I had been actively using this facet, and a couple of my referrals are still active (this 10k satoshi came through them, most likely). Just in case, sharing referral commissions with one's referrals was my idea

wetsuit hasn't been active since July 2018. Is he alive?

No one really knows.  I actually think Wetsuit sold the site to TheQuinn personally and could very well have hired Wetsuit as a contract developer to assist in some sort of dev transition to others since TheQuack clearly has no technical capabilities or knowledge himself.  Ever since TheQuack has been around,  it has really gone down the shitter in terms of friendliness and apparently seed cheating has been discovered recently as well as other nefarious goings on which is detailed in the scam accusations thread.  There has also been talk of a "rebrand" that was also announced suspiciously close to when TheQuack took over "support" roles.

Watch me rape Freebitco.in 24x7 with my gambling bot (you can to) here: https://dlive.tv/btctrading I also do some trading there as well.

First of all, how many people actually understand what "provably fair" means and how to check

For example, I don't know as I don't gamble a lot these days. And this leads us to the next question, i.e. how many people actually gamble at FreeBitco.in? With their house edge of 5% (if I'm not mistaken), I don't think that a lot. As an aside, this value alone would suffice to claim that it is far from fair, huh. Besides, there were quite a few online casinos in the past which also claimed to be "provably fair" and this didn't stop them from stealing their users' money

I dont have much hopes of as earning as much as that but the idea of going away a few years and coming back to the faucet and Bitcoin rose alot in worth since then, that idea seems entirely feasible.    Pretty sure I did that exactly on a few accounts I used back in 2013 and left some change in.

If anyone knows what I mean by dollar cost averaging then you get kinda what I mean.   Just the little bits and bobs from the faucet on a solid website that would be around for a few more years, that could be awesome.   People underestimate the little bits adding up, I like how the website gives more then lower the exchange price goes which is what really makes it cool with this market volatile up and down so much.

It's nice to return to some unexpected coin, the same thing happened to me when I didn't use the site for a while.

wetsuit is very well but he hired me at first in last March to look after forum support and more recently to look after all day to day running of the site. He wants to have more time to concentrate on strategy and development.

Great amount of money, if you have been more active with the referral I'm sure you'll earn a lot but that amount is now better considering bitcoin has some significant increase, would be luckier if you discover than during bitcoin high so you can enjoy your referral earnings more.

Okay, maybe you will be able to solve the glitch I have just seen (if it is a glitch indeed)

As I wrote yesterday, I had 10k satoshi in my account (it was a little above that, around 10.7k). I made a few free rolls yesterday and my balance went to +18k. Today I made one roll and I still have 0.00017142 BTC. If we take the roll table:

And then sum up the values, we will get a total of 0.00008179 BTC with the recent rolls, which gives us over 18k satoshi. But this is not what I actually see in my balance today. So if you are running the site, you may want to look into this issue
