If this truly was an exit scam, I am confused as to why they would even bother making this announcement.

Well, with the current state of the website, not even the honest users are getting their withdrawal requests honoured. No one from the administration or customer support is responding, radio silence for years at this point. The business was probably sold to people that do not care to maintain it and/or hold malicious intent.

I have repeatedly noticed assumptions in this thread that freebitcoin was sold, and every time, I have doubts about this. I mean, why would someone buy a business and then just abandon it without a second thought? At least it's strange, because a couple of years ago, the freebitcoin website was much more popular and clearly generated much more profit for its owners than it does now.

It's quite unfortunate that they ended up like this, with all the good things they had done since the beginning, they should have been able to end their business in a better way, not like this. There should be more honesty from their side about what is going on, but there isn't. If the website was hacked in some way, they should have informed their community. If the original owners sold it, they should have told everyone that the casino has new owners and that the old ones are no longer responsible for what happens in the future. If all this is just the result of incompetence because a change in staff, then they could have offered an explanation about that as well.

Can you tell us here how much is the BTC amount that you withdraw and manage to received? This casino might allowing lower withdrawals and freeze huge amount withdrawal for the sake of having a vouch from some user that withdrawal is still working.

I’m glad you emphasized on your post that you will not play again even though you manage to withdraw your funds since some dumb user usually deposit back again due to the casino interest.

After all, that is the lesson I take from freebitco.in. It could have closed the doors in a legit way, warning users to cashout their funds in X days or until determined date, but no... They kept giving false expectations and hopes, luring users into believing it was still a legit service, when it was clearly being mismanaged and neglected by the managers.

Another lesson I take from this is to never take seriously arrogant employees/managers who boast superiority and humiliate people who they judge to be in inferior positions of power and influence. The way these individuals left the scene is shameful and embarrassing.

This is how so many good casinos had lost their trust due to internal problem like this one that should have been settled and not affect players ability to withdraw their funds. Love that movie, sad ending of course.    This reminds me very much of a decade ago my old Bitcoin mining guild closing down, refusing to take any money or sell it on in any way because of how it could be badly directed.  I still dont fully understand that but I respect the decision.

Normal stance in business is a company is taken on by those who wish to develop it etc.   Make the most with the resources etc.   I dont get why that cant be a thing but maybe its all too complex, I dont think its fair to tie up websites in red tape just because BTC became maths that worked like government must smother anything that does well.

The amount of your withdrawaval could also influence of the fact you got your money back. It is possible they are giving priority to small balances to try to hold their façade of legitimacy for the majority of their gamblers, while at the same time holding the money of those who have a relatively high balance on their platform.

Needless to say, if a platform takes over a month to push through a transaction it should be avoided at all cost...

Instead accusing him of messing or mixing things up and not sure where the money he got deposited to his wallet came from, ask him to post proof instead, this is absolutely better than arguing..

He can simply take a screenshot of his withdrawal page on freebitco showing the withdrawn bitcoin as processed and also show the date it is was processed, then he can also go to the wallet where he recieved the bitcoin and stake a screenshot as well, showing the receipt of the bitcoin recieved from freebitco, the amount and the date the bitcoin came into the wallet, then he can share those screenshot here, he can blur the wallet address areas if he doesn't want us to see his wallet address and any other part of the screenshot showing any personal or sensitive information.

This will prove to us whether he is saying the truth or lying to us..
