Yes, you have to find a good project whether you choose to invest or to do bounty. Don't blindly listen to them to describe how good your project is. You need to understand this project yourself and make your own judgment.

Well said, it is really like you just have described. And, I would add that there are so many newbies appeared nowadays, because of the advertisement everywhere. They are tended to invest in anything that is good promoting on the websites, or YouTube channels.
This is true. It is really important to have a research done regarding the project before putting in the efforts and/or money. Check for credibility from their projects from the past. Advertisements will only attract you, but without knowledge of what you get into, then it is risk too harmful to take.

It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

I agree with you brother, last year which the year of digital currency market I have known people get hyped and immediately invested in Bitcoin without knowing the possible risk they may encounter in the long run. The market went down for a week and they panic sell everything, booM! they lost a huge amount of money in an instant. This is the reason why I keep reminding all of my friends that before investing into something have to study everything or they may consult to people were expert in the field especially in digital currency market which is a risky and so volatile market.

totally agree with the first one that we just should invest in what we see the potentials.
but in the other side, I can't name any coin that did all they've promissed.

and bounty hunters are wasting time? I think you should think again  Grin Grin

probably most people do it, but, of course, not all! Such people still have to rely on the opinions of other people and different sources, although people and sources can be bought! I believe that everyone should have their own opinion about what is happening, and where he is going to invest.

Yes, I believe that you need to study the project beforehand, analyze the information in the ratings, and study the development team. But in any case, you need to be prepared for the worst, do not invest money that is not ready to lose.

Relying on these rating sites can be one of the worst mistakes anyone investing in crypto can make, you never know who controls these sights and why. its very unfortunate that  people still use these sights as a base for  making investment decisions, one should rely on their own instincts and thorough research to make investment decisions.Proper research should be done to properly understand the coin in which one wants to invest, so much so that you put your money where you know well, not where others think is the best

People need to spend less time on those websites, they should just read their announcement threads and see what features the coin has. That's the only way to see if the coin is worth purchasing.

Complete agreement! You can't invest in a project just because it has a lot of HYIP! So cannot be! Need to see what kind of team is this project, to know they were still this project or not! See the road map! Analyze the idea of this project, if possible, to get acquainted with the projects of this Manager, which he led before!

You always need to invest after the analysis of the market, with an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of a particular company, the possible risks of such investments - this is the principle of successful investors.

I totally agree with you. Many of the bounty participants are concerned with high ICO allocations and prices rather than analyzing the benefits of the project and how strong the development team is. At first I thought so, but more analysis becomes a wise move before investing or participating in bounty.

It is absolutely true. Invest wisely is very important to minimize the risks of losing much money because of the unsuccessful token ICO or scams. It is very important to make some deep research of the ICO that we are going to invest. Knowing the team behind the project is also indeed to be exact by checking in their profile of LinkedIn or other channel and media. It is also very important to check and re-check their transaction on the wallet. Now, we can help the coins from an ICO to be higher by not selling them to dump.

Personally, I always at first helped ratings sites icobench and icoratings. But they only help with the initial choice, then you need to study the information about the project yourself.

I agree with you, but it is not that bad as it was several months ago. Additionally, checking sites like icobench, icorating etc. means they have done at least some research. At the end of the last year, people had thrown money into every "project" with words like "decentralized", "revolutionary", "blockchain". Things are getting better, yet they are not optimal at all. Everything takes some time and crypto is not an exception, just as "investors" need some time to be experienced, or they will simply lose their money forever.

This problem was always. People do not want to waste their time, they want quick money. Understanding that, the more time you spend on analysis of the project, the more you earn, comes with experience.
