Guys, what are your predictions for Waves in the coming year? I bought some at about 6 dollars per piece, and have been disappointed with its performance in the past months, even though the news surrounding the project are good.

Hard to say. The crypto market is not predictable. It depends on so many different factors. However the Waves road map looks good. Also we will see the Vostok ICO and the free  distribution of a part to Waves holder which will cause in a buy pressure. So I think the Waves price will be higher on 31th December 2019 as it will be on 31th December 2018

It was due for a pump for many months now, I mean, WavesNG, new wallet with improved trading and new pairs including Turkish Lira, smart contracts, news on Vostok and tokenomica, possible ERC20 tokens integrations....

ERC20 integration will  be a massive boost and boon to the ecosystem. Think I know a dozen few folks who will willingly divorce themselves from IDEX and all these other CEXs in disguise to be able to free trade their assets within their wallet

It can't be ignored anymore because for a period of time it was left in market to face the ups and downs. Yes, Waves price action lately is truly impressive. But for a true reverse - and a new ATH, I'm afraid we will have to wait for a reverse of the whole crypto sphere. Otherwise it may all just be the usual pump & dumps.

There's room enough to grow, with the current tech we could overtake Ethereum.
Some may laugh when I say that but comparing the progress of both projects, it's not a question "if" but "when" we will reach that.

Now I really tend to agree with this point of view. Enabling smart contracts which are easier to implement than Ehereum and less expensive transactions and PoS versus unsustainable PoW - all this starts to be really game changing.
