My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding

Good luck, to you too. Still holding at your situation required heart as an investor. But as you say, you knew the risks when you got in this crypto world , and again as you said, there will be good days in near future. The question is , if you turn back to 36000$ again, what will you do?

Like many others you bought on top, but I like this topic cause unlike others OP is holding and he doesn`t cry about it. Good times will come again and price will recover. Before two years we can say something similar happened and most of the people who bought on top waited two or more years for profit. I don`t mean to scare anyone, 2-3 years period is not short, I`m just saying that people who bought on top needs to be prepared for waiting. Getting out now, cutting loses is not a good thing to do, in long run you will see that kind of decision can cost you a fortune.

What is the situation with the value of your investment portfolio at the moment? It seems to me that today the value of the portfolio has almost recovered. But do not rush to sell, wait again and you will see the profit.

Prices are going up, but its too much to say that they are recovered. Previous top was at 19.000$, its a long way to there. Some other coins are still far from previous tops, lets wait more before we say that we are on a good way. This is a good sign that prices are rising, but they can fall too, that are crypto fluctuations.

However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

i like the spirit! i also hold some coin and i cant cash out those because it will only means loss. i still believed that the coin i hold will rise again to the top... i will be patience in holding this coin even if it means 2 or 3 years. i will wait until i see my coin to the top.

If you invested so much in crypto currencies, then you believe that capitalization will grow very much in the future. Just keep your coins and do not sell.

Holding is the best thing to do. But logically,you are not really losing profit if you won't choose to sell because the amount of your holdings aree still the same and it is just the market price which fell and/or is falling. Dumps in the market are just temporary so there's always a hope that it will eventuslly increase and profit will then again be earned  avoid selling in order to not lose profit.  Just be patient with things.

That really sucks, I hope you will be able to recover your invested funds.
This is only reason why I don't buy on FOMO and only when market crash, so far it showed to be best strategy.

Unfortunately, you got in during the period where the cryptocurrency market was high at the time.  If you didn't purchase more during the months where it was bleeding, you could be missing out on profits now.  Try to add more of those tokens so that your average price is lower.

It was a difficult time for everyone, there are some project that I have investment in that lost 80% of its value, then I just need to find strength in other areas, I have learnt a great lesson is what  happens recently thee impotance of planing for the difficult period

People need to learn that in cryptocurrencies crashes like the ones we are seeing are going to be part of our lives as investors, so you need to prepare yourself financially and mentally to endure it, I'm not going to deny that I was nervous when I saw the price going down so abruptly but at the same time I knew that this was coming, I knew that it was going to be big and I also knew that we will recover.

I hope in the OP you have held your positions as you should be well on the way back to recovering the majority of your losses by now. The huge drop you witnessed did present a buying opportunity if you had the funds available and the risk awareness to do so. Many alts have increased by between 50 and 80% during April.

But this is not bad at all, i heard about a lot of people who put in here $100k and they  touched the bottom on January with less than $25,000.. That is more than terrible to be honest.
I would never put more than $20,000 on cryptos, doesnt matter how much money i have.
