Although there were a lot of events which weakened my trust in crypto, I still think it is one of the best investments in my life. I am currently holding a small portfolio which is also losing money, but I was prepared for it and don`t panic at all.

I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX

If you have been holding for so long, you do not need to be nervous now. I definitely believe in this field. If this market were to die, then there would not be so many exchanges and an ecosystem around it. A lot of money comes here and I'm sure it's not just that.

If you are not good at trading, then better will be just to leave your coins for better times. Patients always bring good results, and I'm sure that soon your portfolio will start growing.

Your persistence will give you the benefits you deserve. In this downfall, every encrypted investor loses pain, but the secret of my investment encryption is to hold, insist on holding, only the price reaches a certain price and then sell

A lot of people are in the same situation as you, I have almost the same results, and I think the best option is to keep your coins for a long term. I'm sure after 1 year you will see 100 000$ on your balance.

When you come to this market you must be ready to take a risk. And you should risk only that ammount of money that you can afford to loose and wouldn't much regret. Now I believe that we have passed a low point in market and good days are coming

Okay, holding is good but don't you think that your are lucky to know about cryptocurrency? Many ICO out there that provide big size of opportunity to increase the value of your investment. You can see at MTC price which is stull increasing. Hold is good but it's better to be brave to earn money on new coin.

What I think is, lots of people have bought their coins at the peak levels of those coins. So it will take some time to pass or reach that level again. But don't forget that Crypto is a long term investment most of the time.

perhaps because of the current market situation, many investors are leaving the crypto world for not wanting to lose more capital, and they assume that crypto will be part of history or arguably crypto will die. but I believe that crypto will recover, even if it takes a long time, rather than getting a much better loss of holding coins in the long run, while waiting for the market to recover

Most of the cryptocurrency investors have been suffering loss since the beginning of 2018.
If you invested into altcoins, you should have suffered greater loss already.
Anyway I am optimistic about the long term value of cryptocurrency.

I also lose 50% crypto market value of my altcoins holding and i don't give up on them this time because i believe them that they will always recover again soon, they are still falling this time and i just keep watching on them on my blockfolio, I hope that crypto will start to rise on this midyear onward.

I've already taken out all my fiat exposure in crypto.
Even if all I have left in crypto markets are just profits, it's still sad to see it lose 70-80% in value.
I would have been able to retire with a good enough amount for retirement or for a buyback into crypto but it's all good and still happy that I still have some crypto assets left with 0 exposure.

But this is not bad at all, i heard about a lot of people who put in here $100k and they  touched the bottom on January with less than $25,000.. That is more than terrible to be honest. I would never put more than $20,000 on cryptos, doesnt matter how much money i have.

Not only you most of the people who invested in altcoin in the last year, now the prices have decreased a lot in the market and now people cannot able to sell them in the market due to low prices. It is impossible to sell them in the market and only the option we have is to hold the coins.

Yeah, i believe you have taken the best decision not selling st loss it is going to be a dumb decision to sell when you are at loss hodL and you will laugh when things turn good in the market.

That's relatable, and it is a sad thing to watch, but at this point i think so many people are running at a loss, especially those of us that invested when the market price was higher than what it is now. It is a good thing that you are still holding now, cos if you sell now, you will only be running at a loss. But with hodling, you have assurance that when the price goes back up, you'll be getting back your money and probably more.

You are better off holding all of your coins at this point. If you decide to sell that would only mean that you are making a lot of losses. It is good that you are hodling, mostly at the end it is people like you who held through all of the downs that enjoy it the most. This is because when the people who sold would be struggling to buy back in at higher prices, you already have coins that you got for cheaps.

I also hope that I'm not in vain holding my coins for a long time, and I hope that all the same the market will recover and the prices for my coins will start to grow. But at the moment it is hard to look at the current situation on the market, as prices are falling ever lower.

I still believe yes, perhaps even more than back in December Smiley. I invested less, but am also down around 70% still. I managed to get some back by buying and selling at some of the recent waves. Some coins still had some ups and downs. I don't feel that great with this approach though, since I am earning back money others lose at the same time (by selling low and such). I was down almost 85% at some point in - I believe - end of February. We'll see. If I lose it all, I can live with my choices. Somehow I don't believe I will lose it all though, I think in a year people like us are still very much happy with our pf Smiley. The only shitty thing is, those that started in March onwards, had much better entry points and may be even happier Smiley

Good job, do not cash out now or you will regret it later. The dips and rises are part of the normal variation in crypto, you entered into a highly volatile market and unfortunately things took a down trend soon after. However, just look at the history, this is nothing unusual, there have been multiple bigger dips and bitcoin has recovered. It might not happen in 2018, but eventually bitcoin will reclaim its former glory.
