is this the correct thread now?

Anyone managing to utilise CPU mining alongside RVN GPU mining?
i'm looking into AQUA ... going to attempt mining it on my RVN rigs at the same time.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Why doesn't CryptoBridge display all sell orders? For example, currently I can see sell orders up to the price of 550 satoshi. I know that there are sell orders with bigger price because I had sell order with bigger price.

I noticed that also. When I look at worldcoinindex, they go by the highest bid order and not the latest sell order.

Installed a 3rd GPU today. Can't get it to work
Crashes my miner. ""Aes_cpu_init out of memory"" A quick google makes me think virtual memory is the issue. Problem is I have no idea what I'm doing. Can anyone help?

try to increase your virtual memory.
google some more info on howto

why? RVN has much higher daily volume despite not being listed on any major exchange, is also much higher in cmc rank -> and PolySwarm was hyped as hell by the many influencers (youtube, tt) whereas RVN not (natural growth). So you suggest to trade a good coin for a bad coin?  Grin

I'm mining 8 Nvidia 1060 3gb with Samsung ram. Using SMOS with enemy miner on suprnova. Getting 180 coins for day for my rig. Got the intensity set to 21. And I have suprnova paying out every 6 rvn. Is this round about the same as what everyone else is getting or can I do better?

Forgot to mention I have 150 core and -502 for memory and running at 65w. Fan speeds 75% and GPUs sitting about 65 degrees c

Kind regards
Steven

Those are equihash settings/clocks. You'll want to clock more like for Neoscrypt and up your power limit slightly. Something like:

TDP 80-85%
Core +150-250
Mem +500-600

Then set a fan profile that makes sense.

That should give you a solid boost without raising your temps. Also don't mess with intensity, the default 19 should be fine unless you have really topshelf cards like 1060 GALAX EOC or something like that.

Hey thanks for the help!
I will give a try tonight. One question though. I though memory didn't matter on this algorithm? That's what I've been reading anyway?

Kind regards
Steven

Mem matters with certain parts of the algorithm.

I'm getting absurdly good responses from clocking up core and mem fairly heavily on all my GALAX EXOC cards 1050 TI and 1060 3Gb EOC and close to nothing on my MSI Aero cards so they're sitting at stock but I'm not seeing any weird drops or instability issues that other people seem to be reporting with heavier OCs.

So I spaced out my cards a little more. Maybe a cm or so and it has dramatically helped with gpu heat. 65c at 80% fan speed at 75w per card. I have had it up to 80w and the temperature stays the same so that sounds good doesn't it?

I have some worries about wattage though. I understand that a 8 pin pcie can carry 150w? I have 4 cards running off one evga 750w gold. I have it wired with 4 cards powered with the 2 split pcie cables you get in the box and the risers powered from from the single pcie cables you get in the box but I've added 6 pin to 6 pin dual splitter to give me enough connections. Does that make sense?

I worry that if my 8 pin cables from the psu can only carry 150w and say I'm taking 80-85w per card and my risers were taking 80-85w I would be overloading my cables.

if you use additional split power caples or converters, the cheap ones can not carry the power. I have 3 or 4 of them burned. Just be carefull and change them at the first sign of burnt or overheat on the cables.

PCIE cables/connectors can carry more than 150w.

From Toms Hardware :
Quote
Even though the specification allows for a delivery capability of 75 W (six-pin connector) or 150 W (eight-pin connector), the total power-handling capacity of these connectors is at least 192 and 288 W, respectively, using standard terminals, and even more using the HCS or Plus HCS terminals.

https://www.tomshardware.co.uk/power-supply-specifications-atx-reference,review-32338-12.html

I run each card and riser on one lead using good quality pcie 8 pin to 2 x 8 pin splitters. No problems at all.
Besides which, if your cards are using 85w, then that is their total draw. The riser power is included in the power usage for a card, not additional.

So do you think I will be ok running at 85w? I bought 20 awg 8 pin  pice to dual y 6 pin off amazon and I'm using those to power the 4 risers. I've bought a multimeter to test the riser wattage anyway so should be here tomorrow. Was just a bit afraid to go over 150w between the card power and teh riser power

How many cards per cable? If its just 2 1060s then it should be fine. The cards probably won't be drawing any riser power anyway, but the max according to the spec is 75w, so that's only 150w for 2 risers

Yes 2 1060 3gb on a 8 pin to dual 6 pin evga cable. And 2 risers on a evga cable with a 20 awg 6 pin to dual 6 pin adapter. If the capacity of the 8 pin to dual 6 pin evga is 150w then if I run my cards at 85w then will the cables not be overloaded. I understand that the max tdp of this card is 120w. I have been informed that the most profitable way to mine raven is with a tdp of 80-85%. Does that mean I would have to run these cards at between 96-102w per card? I'm running 8 cards off of 2 evga 750w gold's.

Kind regards
Steven

I switch from enemy 1.05 to enemy 1.09 and there is about 15%  less hash.
Is it normal for 3x 1060, 1x980ti, 1x1070, 1x1070ti, 1x 1050ti to mine 150 coins in 24h? 5 days ago i had about 300 coin per day. last 2 days i have  on enemy 1.05 -170 coins and on enemy 1.09 its 150.

difficulty increased after RVN is added to whattomine com and more miners know about this coin.
it's normal.

I have 3 nvidia 1070 GPUs, and before, I was getting about 150RVN a day, and now it's about 100RVN a day.

YES!  But if we can get more exchanges, volume will go up and we'll all make more money.
