all my 3 pc are running Windows 7 64 bit
I had the wallet on a  old  dual core laptop, but i move it to quad core computer
it run enough so i can get my PoR and PoS  be for it  crashes ,  then I restart the wallet

64 or 32? I run 64 win 7 and have no problems.

Windows 7 ultimate
What kind of OS are you running?

 The Windows wallet keeps crashing and not responding it will run about an hour and a half or two then crash

So I thought the computer and I had it on wasn't fast enough
so I moved it to a quad core computer, it crashes on there too after a couple hours of running
any fix for this?

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

It might be auto-updating. Which wallet version are you currently running?

I'm running the same version. Maybe you can post in the technical support area here: https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/2380-technical-support/

Well every altcoin is "low" at the moment....

Its because the Bitcoin is atm. to strong, thats why.

U can use the EObot Faucet for example to get Gridcoin. If u know how to create a altcoin faucet u can creat your own Gridcoin faucet^^

Hey folks, Merry Christmas!!

I was just wondering if anyone could help me figure out why I'm stuck with Project: INVESTOR

I set the directories to the proper locations in config file but still getting INVESTOR status.

Here is config file:

cpumining=true
email=myemail@gmail.com
addnode=node.gridcoin.us
addnode=gridcoin.asia
addnode=grcmagnitude.com
UpdatingLeaderboard=false
tickers=GOOG,^DJX,^RUT,^VIX,SPY,AAPL,$GRC,$BTC,SHLD,$LTC
boincdatadir=C:\\ProgramData\\BOINC\\
boincappdir=C:\\Program Files\\BOINC\\

Those last two lines are accurate, so I'm confused about why I'm still marked as INVESTOR. Thanks in advance to any help people can give!

For anyone with the same problem, it turns out that everything was set up fine on my end, but the Gridcoin Wallet does not tell you that you have to wait 24 hours or so for your info to show up in the next superblock. That should be fixed.

I am now running smoothly and mining, however I'm still waiting for my coins to become stake (apparently every 16 hours your coins are staked) in order to earn from my BOINC projects.

This is interesting but the waiting with no messages from the wallet app sort of leaves the user in the dark...

Someone needs to entice a new whale elite into GRC. Its all about purchasing power that moves rocksolid walls and arranges stuff in the correct order. This is whats needed to save rare species like this one from extinction.
