So $1 GRC is $390 million cap, just right above DOGE coin at 18th place?! Totally possible in my opinion!

I think people just don't understand the difference between Gridcoin and Golem. In Golem those who need computing power will rent this computing power and pay in GNT tokens. In Gridcoin all rewards come from newly generated coins. Therefore in Golem there will always be strong demand for tokens where in Gridcoin miners always have incentives to sell their coins on the market.

I can agree that we need Gridcoin project and it is a good project, but be careful and don't follow the pump blindly.

It's kind of like the difference between fiat and crypto.

Or between open source and corporate.

Each person should decide which they prefer.

Taking the currenty cap into consideration the bump was neccessary and more a balance to the market with still high potential to double or tripple in short time.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

How much one can earn mining Gridcoin?

Up to 5 USD per day (with a single HD7970 and AMD Ryzen), if you choose right BOINC projects (yafu and Milkyway, in this case).

I'm not understanding something here.

Neural net shows me as being around 630 magnatude - why is the wallet showing me at 0?

Yes, I read that cryptocurrencytalk link - still have no clue why the current wallet version seems to be broken.

Is there an ETA on when this issue will be fixed?

On the plus side, I DO like the move to make the wallet less cluttered, though it STILL wastes too much screen space, and STILL seems to be assuming everyone uses a widescreen monitor (I strongly dislike the whole concept, and have never understood why they became popular much less seem to be turning into the bloody default).

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Wallet is not broken - we had an incomplete superblock yesterday and it screwed up everyone's mag (or nearly so). Things will most likely return to normal today, with the new superblock (which is automatically generated every 24hrs or so). Devs are working on it too, to prevent it from happening in the future.

 It did fix.
It would have been nice for one of the devs to explain that before it fixed though.

Up side - they DID at least try to give a timely warning, I saw messages about it a couple of places pretty quickly (not their fault if the messages weren't SEEN).

...

Faucets:
    http://pool.gridcoin.us/Faucet.aspx
    http://faucet.gridcoin.asia/
    http://grcfaucet.tk/
#gridcoin on Freenode or https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:6667/#gridcoin - drips to 10 random members every 3 hours
         *nickname must be registered
*sometimes the channel rains, sometimes it pours, join us for great conversation and free GRC
#gridcoin-games on Freenode or https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:6667/#gridcoin-games - free games that pay GRC just for playing

...

Not sure if these need to be updated, some seem to be redirects. A person who thinks that GRC will do very well, but who has little to invest could get a little from faucets but it would be nice to have some small jobs aside from mining, not sure what though.
