Buy some GRC from now on, before going back to the moon and you'll regret it.

Installed the wallet, it is synching for more than 2 days now which I'm used too from other wallets.
But what annoys me is that there is no way to see the progress status. Any way to see this?

I had the same problem too and I found the solution by accident. Just move your cursor below the active connections icon (it lookes like the one for the wifi signal) and let it stay there for 2-3 seconds. Then a box will pop up showing you how many blocks are remaining

Worthless article as they don't mention WHICH project(s) they run to achieve that profitability.

How the heck are you supposed to vote in these polls?
If you say "steemit only" then CHANGE that, a lot of us have no use for that site.

 added section:

* "So, what are the possible reasons for the delay/mag zero this time?" of the superblock

* World Community Grid had problems (see here), but these were starting at around 14:00 UTC on Tuesday, July 18, so about 40h after consensus-building of the SB was already in progress.
* SETI had its usual downtime Tuesdays (I know at least that they were offline at 2017-07-18 20:00)

* The CENTRALIZED component and NOT OPENSOURCED harvest server made trouble (file names not correct, ...)

CENSORSHIP within the Gridcoin Community on subjects that some people don't want broadcast to the Gridcoin Community and Beyond

https://steemit.com/gridcoin/@erkan/censorship-within-the-gridcoin-community-on-subjects-that-some-people-don-t-want-broadcast-to-the-gridcoin-community-and-beyond

won't bother replying. Others have done a better job than me. Here are a few replies to your FUD:

"Erkan, its not censorship. People don't like that you spam poorly written comments about how to improve Gridcoin in a self promoting manner. Maybe consider limiting yourself to two or three new topics a week, or consolidate all of your posts into a single well reasoned article."

"Agreed. I Actually thought his first couple of posts were okay, if poorly written. They at least seemed to be attempting to call attention to and start a discussion about issues with Gridcoin. It's quickly just turned into absolute attention-seeking garbage that's mostly just copy/paste from IRC or slack with no actual analysis or well thought out opinions."

"Downvoting some of Erkan's posts is 100% the right thing to do. Whether it's because he's spreading FUD or because he uses buzz-words to make issues sound bigger than what they are, he generally puts out poorly written content that isn't constructive or useful for the Gridcoin community.
His behavior turns away new/enthusiastic Gridcoiners and his content should not be supported by anyone who values the growth of the Gridcoin community.
Erkan: If you don't want your posts to be downvoted, concentrate on writing higher quality material."

"There's no censorship in flagging poor quality content. I've flagged your posts before because 90% of the time they are just copy/paste conversations out of the IRC/Slack, they're hard to understand, and lately you seem to be using buzz-words to try to make things sound like a major tragedy when they're not. "

"For everyone reading this thread: these developers are working tirelessly trying to fix this. I'm in the Slack and the GitHub and I can vouch that we have the right people volunteering their time right now. Please be mindful of that when we're criticizing. Tireless effort is being made --- and it's being made for free right now as they're getting paid nothing. Criticism without any attempt at offering a solution is not constructive.
"

and my favorite

"Here's an idea: If you really want to help Gridcoin, buy yourself a textbook on programming or take some programming classes at a local college. Become a programmer and join those hard-working developers on the Slack/Github. Instead of spending all of your time trying to explode every issue Gridcoin has, put yourself into a position to help them.

If you can't learn to program, then accept that what they do is extremely complex and have a little empathy for the challenges they're facing and the work they're putting into this while a handful in this community spend all their time ridiculing their efforts. "

So in other words gridcoin is doomed because someone somewhere (in a chat I guess because I didn't see anything on  reddit or steemit or any other website) had some kind of a discussion about cannabis. What kind of bullshit is this?

The fud on gridcoin is getting more retarded each passing day.

Hey can I get a bit of advice, I'm pool mining and currently working on the Collatz Conjecture project. The last project I contributed for (and this was a while ago 6+ months) would submit a project package every 10mins or so, but I'm getting an estimated time of 4 days! Does that seem right? I'm with grcpool.com and hashing with a 970. Also I'm using my CPU for NFS@Home and the package time there is 50mins x3, on an i5 3340. So I'm just worried I've set myself up wrong with GPU hashing.

Thank you
