Hey my client is updating, transactions are being received and sent , but it isnt confirming anything. Both sent pts and received get no confirmations.
ProtoShares has 5 min block, please wait 30-40 min. Hello, Basically I sent an exchange some pts, I got credited on their site, so it clearly transmitted. The transaction details even mentions it was broadcasted from 7 nodes. Despite this its been about two hours, and several other transactions have confirmed, but this one transaction still has the question mark sign and says 0/6 confirmations. Thanks.

I has same problem with 1 transaction and wait for transaction to be confirmed about 6 hours, now ProtoShares has a lot of transaction in the network (pool payouts, send to exchange, etc). Just wait and transaction will be confirmed sooner or later.

The slow confirmation times appear to be the result of one or more miners having adopted a policy of refusing to include more than one transaction per block. See here: http://btsblock.com/chain/ProtoSharesYpool (the largest pool) appears to be one the bad actors. If you compare block numbers from their stats page to the blockchain explorer, it looks like all of ypool's blocks are only including 1 transaction at most. Thus, everyone trying to send PTS through the network is having to wait until someone else (such as the beeeeer pool) find a block, at which point a bunch of transactions finally get included in a block.

I'm mining on YPool with the Protominer, and since yesterday (after they solved the problems) i'm getting only 0.01-ish PTS per day. Before the problems (5 days ago) I was getting about 1 whole PTS per day. Is this normal, is everyone getting similar results? Was there such a huge difficulty increase? Is there is something else wrong here?

The difficulty increased something like 8x or 9x. I was getting 10 full PTS/day last Wednesday. Now I get 1 if I'm lucky.

It certainly looks that way. So much for decentralization.

usually though Robots mindlessly sell down the price - look at say quark -
i can see a little of this occurring on BTER , but it will be interesting to see what happens when it gets to another exchange ?

The amazon mining thread explains the massive difficulty increase. Until 20,000 collisions per minute earns less than $11 an hour, it will keep getting more difficult.

How many coins per block, what is the coin limit if their is one and what is the rate of change of coin generation over time if there is one.
Any sources of info on this would be gratefully received.

Did you read the top post? ^ Lol so true, and bytemaster can I get a comment on this robot issue, do you personally think it is overstated and a lot of this is driven by online servers ? As per recent comments { tilts hat pushes mic towards bytemaster } Also how does it feel to have had so much attention this early in the design of specifically PTS , any news on the progress with the algorithm ? { we report you decide }

The sky is falling. Also, with the instamining (or difficulty adjustment error) there where a lot of people waiting for an exchange to dump. PTS will find it's price eventually.
