if you are an investor your strategy really is HODL for long term but if you are a trader of course you will trade when you already have profit and just buy again at dip

i think it's better cut loss and wait for price below again then we buy back, so there will be transaction in btc, and i think the price will not be this bad. if many people only hold btc so market circulation will decrease
I was actually thinking of this too earlier. I'm not giving up since I am actually gonna get back into it and it will still be more or less the same since I'll buy when its lower again like you're saying. |

This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down. Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore? No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$  I believe you should not invest long term at this point, you can see that the bitcoin girl is constantly fluctuating and difficult to guess, so in order to successfully trade is very difficult, the market is Continuous fluctuations and only a small correction of bitcoin prices will also cause the price of altcoin to fall sharply. So I think you should consider investing long term at this point. |

Holding as long term investment is good strategy i think. Price will grow and its need time not in one night or in one day. Its take time because people always see the potential investment.
But for the short term is not always holding is a good thing. for example when january ago the price is correction and holding of course is not a good thing because until now the price has not happened recover. sometimes cutlose also save you and may benefit you in the future |

This the proves that all predictions never guarantee we get a big profit, although many people believe that hold is an ineffective strategy but I'm sure if it holds for a longer time then we will get big profits.

For now it can be said that hodl strategy is not actual, this is due to the influence of various negative news so that make user panic and sell and this certainly affect the price which is difficult to rise.

I dont believe that the hold strategy is not actual, i believe that when we do holding strategy it can surely help us to became profitable on the right time and i know that when we hold our bitcoin for a year it will result a very high income for us. |

I think the hold strategy will be effective, but everyone is not supposed to wait, they just focus on the profit in small amounts so that when they feel the profit they sell immediately.

Many people wants big profits that's why they prefer holding bitcoin for long term prior selling it. But sometimes they feel greedy and not contented of the price that exist and they still waiting for the big pump. They believe always that hodl strategy is not actual until there is such big profits to come. |

If the HODL strategy is not aclual for Bitcoin now, that's doesn't mean that this strategy not actual for the rest of coins. So I will choose it whatever people think.

This is a matter of choice if we hold our investment in bitcoin. It is risky because its value is unstable but if you do the risk, I am sure you can gain what you want ro have. It can double the amount if your investment because the value or price is changeable. It depends on the number of investors, that is why better always have patience in waiting then everything will follow.

There is also regulation coming out from thailand, they do regulated the ico and the cryptocurrency. Market is hit by this many event and i do think it will takes few month for market to recovery. |

if we want to hold our asset while market down, are we ready to accept if balance reduce more and more.we need to take risk management to avoid bigger lose.such as cut los. |

We should not be too concerned with such news, read the good news to increase our motivation for bitcoin and crypto currency. Because such news could have been a FUD that there is certainly a purpose behind it all.

Maybe the interest to word "hodl' are falling down cause of everybody already know what does it mean and it has nothing together with bitcoin price fall. As Warren Buffet said true holder should to be prepared for ten years of hold, in other case it is just not stable player and I'm agree with him.

A "Hold" strategy is only for patience person.
If you always worried about your assets price, then HOdl is not suitable for you.
