Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them or hold.
If you want to make some real profit, I think you should wait for the bull season. In my opinion, bull market is effecting almost all of the coin prices positively, and I think this situation is making holding the best choice. Long term holding is worthy and a brilliant determination to gain accumulate profits. In time, the bull market will exist and persistently arise, so have patience by waiting on the bull run. And all your hard work will be remunerating immensely profitable. |

At this point I would just say hold. I've seen so many people, including myself, try to sell and buy back at the "dip" except that there always seems to be a steeper dip than the one previous. It's practically impossible to guess what the market will do. I'd just go with the safe bet of holding and waiting until this winter ends.

My opinion is that depending on the type of coin, you can sell if you feel sufficiently profitable if you have not reached the price you expect, you should keep them in time. because they will grow again.

Me I am holding to the end because selling right now is pointless, the price has gone more than 50% low
So yeah am holding to the end.
There are many investors in the same situation as you and I think this is not the time to sell because it is no different than you are giving away your property. The market is recovering and investors can trust the coins they have invested so that they do not panic and sell in regret. |

i dont know if i did right or wrong but i have been holding altcoins from the beginning and my portfolio is dropping bitcoinwise as well. but i dont want to sell them because if i sell i would be accept my losses.

Hodl until the price of that toket back to original value , and sale when you feel like you make a profit. I will never sale unless a have a profit . I will try to hold it until I make profit. |

The circumstances as time goes by are indeed more suitable for trading/long-term investments on altcoins that do have more power especially ETH, well anyway there is no reason to leaving crypto.. it depends on the coins we pick. The top coins still look to have a future that will be better and more desirable to many people until it will last forever and more supported.

it seems that it's up to you, if i become you and are in need of money to pay for a very important requirement then i will sell it and use the assets i have to pay for it, but if it is not in need of money then better hold.

Same here, if you're not sure about the situation of the market. Then holding is the best way to get some profit from your investments Being panic is not a good thing if you an investor. |

Holding altcoins which is potential is good to hold and you will get more money on this if you patience to keep. But if you think the altcoins that you holding or have is not potential coin anymore just sell it to avoid losing some of your capital.

I think it will be better for you to hold this period because selling now will only be at more loss as the price are very low but if we continue to hold till the market recover, I am sure the price of coin will begin to increase and then we can sell and make reasonable profit on our investment.

I can say that selling on red market not good decision either. I sold some tokens cause I need money and now they got x2-x3. Unfortunately I need some money and I decided to sell some coins, but I think this is not good deal when you're selling when market is unstable. If you want to sell just wait when price will go high. Only you know when you should buy, so there are no good or bad market when you decided to buy, cause it depends on your wish. |

Selling this dip is actually a risky idea. We might have big losses if we'll all sell during this market dip so it would be better if we'll just continue hodling until the market fully recovers gain. The right time of selling and buying matters most for us traders. |

In crypto you have to have confidence and also patience, and if you do not have it then you will easily panic. Hold, even though the current price is down but the future may increase, and if you sell then you will lose. |

Here's the simple fact, if in this bull market your altcoins are struggling against BTC, then cash out now as they are unlikely to improve in the near term. If you believe in the long term future of the coin, then you can reinvest once you have taken from profit from BTC. Most strong alts will actually gain against BTC during these bullish times, so make sure you're betting on the right horses.

While all altcoins may not follow bitcoin's price trend, most do follow its direction generally. Newly listed ICOs may be an exception. Selling in a weak market at a loss is not a good strategy. If you are sure of the coin's long term story, then holding is better. Invest in good coins and good ICOs like EOT (aka EON) for the long term.

To avoid losing better hold coins. You will end up buying the coins in high price and selling it all. Just hold and wait for improvement in the market. Reward is waiting for those who patiently waits.
