If it's a solid projects coin I suggest you hold, but if it's a Pnd or a project that doesn't have the backing of the community just dump and move on,  try to find a good coin to invest in that will yield gains to cover the previous flop

I prefer Bitcoin.
Altcoin is too risky if you do not use altcoin in TOP 10.
The possibility of altcoin may disappear and fall in price.
If you have Bitcoin then it will probably last and its value will be high.
Bitcoin is the oldest coin and has a major influence on the development of Cryptocurrency prices.
So you should choose Bitcoin instead of buying Altcoin.

Currently I don't see any reason to sell anything at all. I think a long fall or flat will last until the end of the year, or until the release of sharding. Now is a great opportunity to accumulate a lot of coins and wait for the market recovery

Well every decisions of holding or seeking is depending on the current price or maybe in our needs. If we have important thinks to be adress then we don't have to wait for the rising of its price. I think it depends on us but i believe that this time is really the best time to hold than to sell.

I think when bitcoin starts to go up, we need to sell our Altcoins and buy Altcoins when bitcoin starts to fall. Because all Altcoins follow the price of bitcoin. So we just have to wait for bitcoin to go up.

For me as an investor of altcoins , i have been holding my investments from different ICO until now even if i see that every each of my investments are dropping in value. Because i still believe that it will go high in their value someday , it only takes patience when you want to earn and gain more profits from your investments. you are the only one who can decide for yourself whether you hold or sell your coins. When you see that the price is growing up, then maybe that's the time where you can exchange your coins, but if you see the price drops, then maybe you just keep it first.
