I think you are a bit late of holding because as you look at the price in the marketcap most of the coins are turning green a few days ago. This is the right time to sell now but if you do buy your coins before when the price was cheaper than today you can sell it now so you can earn a bigger and good profit.

It depends some coins take off after they released their platform, others will take some time to build up the community support, if the dev fails or stopped updating their supporters and investors then its time to sell that coin, no use holding it.

According to my way of thinking, It depends on the type of altcoin. If it is a solid project just survive. Overall I will hold it, it's just a bad time. And make us panic.
