Bitcoin has achieved a lot over the past years and deserves much credit for that yet has not reached it goal. Bitcoin is set to reach a global patronage where everyone will accept its usefulness in terms of payment method and adopt it in their businesses and transactions. Well, Bitcoin is still young as compared to the traditional fiat, hence there are still more rooms for developments.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Bitcoin has just one goal and that it to benefit as much people as possible. People have made their own personal goals (mainly based on returns).

In my opinion, bitcoin has not reached its goal. I know if the bitcoin developers want bitcoin to be the number one legitimate currency used worldwide like the dollar. Now,  bitcoin is already ranked number 6 to compete with other fiat currencies such as dollars and euros. Bitcoin is very ambitious to be the number one currency but bitcoin has not gained legal status from all countries in the world. This is certainly a sign that the goal of bitcoin has not been achieved because bitcoin still has many challenges to realize its dream. Beating the dollar and the euro are not an easy thing because both currencies are deeply rooted in the use of people all over the world.

In my country bitcoin still didn't get legitimate. The government still worry if bitcoin someday will leading fiat currency and make economic in that country collapse
Yes in my country Bitcoin also not yet legitimate right. But although not yet valid it is still allowed to use Bitcoin. And I think it's very difficult to be legal in my country. Because the Government really does not like Bitcoin. Very unlikely Bitcoin is valid in my country.

I think bitcoin is still far from its main goal of giving the ''financial power to the people''. A lot of manipulations is still going on by whales, institutions and their likes, adoption is still not at the level we are hoping for it to really go mainstream. For me i think until bitcoin completely replaces banks or becomes a major part of the current banking system, the goal of achieving bitcoin goal is not near.

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

Yes but not at all because there are some country not regulating bitcoin, but bitcoin now a days are making their best and aim to be one of the most fast growing business in the world.

No one knows when bitcoin rises and how much it costs. Bitcoin could break the record in 2017 and probably go up about $ 30,000 and that depends on how quickly the market will receive large capital.

i believe the goal of bitcoin is not about the price. Whether the price will hit $250k or not in 2022, doesnt matter for me.
The sure thing is bitcoin price indeed increasing every year. But the goal of bitcoin is to become a world digital currency.
The goal is everyone in this world using bitcoin and cryptocurrency for their transactions in the future.

BTC will be difficult to achieve my goal, I think so, because it was blocked at the 22k mark so the milestone is difficult to pass.

I think that  bitcoin will again hit the all time high before the end of 2018. And after that, it will keep in raising the goal for 2022 it huge but as bitcoin in doing from last few years, I am sure in 2022 it can achieve this goal also

Bitcoin is gradually achieving it's goal.  Some countries are already using it as alternative for their fiat money though many countries are yet adopt it based on some sentiment  which I know with time the course would take. Is place.

When looking at bitcoin history, we know even now its more than its goal, but I think bitcoin will hit $20,000 in end of 2019.

I think it might hit 20k by the end of this year. Although the downtrend has lasted for some time but I think it will pick up within the coming monthsm

I think it haven't for as we know that bitcoins's growth is not limited at its feature. It will always go up. Although there would be a lot of corrections but it will go up. Trust me.

I'm not sure of it, but to some extent it has attained its goal. Same is with the dreams of Satoshi. In the future when technology is the key for each and every activity cryptocurrency will get its importance. That will help attain the goal with ease.

Bitcoin has no point of goal so then I believe that it will continue and rise or go drop and pump in every year. I think bitcoin will soon rise but it doesn't have goal or limit it depends upon its usage or maybe volume of investors on the market place. I think we all need to have more patience on bitcoin for good specially today it's price is dropping.

The main purpose of bitcoin is certainly how it can be accepted by all people around the world and as much as possible to attract investors to invest bitcoin.Currently bitcoin has been recognized and recognized many people around the world as well as many investors who invest bitcoin, So I think these two bitcoin goals have been achieved now . Hopefully bitcoin can meet the expectations of everyone who loves it with the growth of price increases that can make people happy.
