for me even if you have invested only in bitcoins, you should care about other good alt coins as they can compete with bitcoins and push for improvements. bitcoin rise from $9000 to $20000, imagine that its a big money. Thats why bitcoin has a strong community and more popular because of his performance. Bitcoin already reached his goal.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

first of all, what was the goal ? if bitcoin's goal was to makes peoples more rich, then yes it was already achieved.
Many peoples have received their incomes from bitcoin. Not mention from another coins (altcoins) created after bitcoin.
so for me yes, it has reached its goal.

Of course not!!! Now maybe a low price, but I think everyone heard that by 2022 the price will be very high. Do you think this is true or not?

Bitcoin has not reached it goal, but the groundwork has been laid and will surely attain its visions some day to come. For now, we have some powerful countries accepting bitcoin and this  great for the future. Also, bitcoin is ranked among the top 6 cryptocurrencies in the world and these are all indications that bitcoin is gradually getting bigger and bigger and i believe it will achieve its goal soon.

I think that bitcoin goal is a continous process where in its target is to help people achieve ,so as the founder of this bitcoin phenomenom, and spread this goal around the globe and touch the people who are suffering economic financial crises so as part of their goal is to share some good things that others can also enjoy.
One of bitcoin's benefits is its ability to give people a special kind of work for earning money to make life at ease and to be financially free and I believe that bitcoin's goal is to make difference about monetary system with the evolution and advancement of our technology and to live better life.
technology cannot change the world of human-human interaction, man-machine interaction. man himself must change, otherwise the technology will be sharpened on an old thread interaction, only on the new technology. a person should find freedom in himself, then he will be free in technology.

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

as of now bitcoin is not yet reach its goal but i think maybe someday bitcoin will reach its goal if the demand of bitcoin will grow, more people will use bitcoin and will know the bitcoin.

in my opinion has not reached its goal and we can not predict how the current market conditions whether to rise or decrease drastically and in my opinion we can only depend on the market alone

No. I think bitcoin has not reached the goal because bitcoin will create a virtual asset similar to bitcoin but it takes a very long time so bitcoin has not reached its destination

If the ultimate goal of bitcoin becomes the world's currency and replaces the fiat currency, of course the current bitcoin has not reached its destination. But besides that there must be a short-term goal bitcoin wants to achieve, and if the short-term goal of bitcoin is to be known to people all over the world and attract as many investors as possible to invest, the bitcoin goal has been achieved, as bitcoin is now known to people all over the world and many investors are already investing in bitcoin. this means that there are some bitcoin goals that have been achieved and hopefully bitcoin will be able to achieve its main purpose as a crypto currency that can replace the fiat.

I think that this hype around bitcoin will create the second wave of its rapid growth. And the process is unstoppable. It's not the end, but the beginning.

If the goal is to gain as many investors as possible, I think it did. But if the goal is to expand bitcoin's function as a currency, nope not yet.

it was predicted that someday bitcoin will be as accepted as fiat money in most of the stores, shops, service providers or any possible transactions. I read about KFC accepting bitcoin but no news reliable news agency has yet to cover it.

Still waiting that famous fast food chains would accept btc for delivery Smiley

in fact the purpose lies in bitcoin investors because the bitcoin is a tool, means, and facilities made to work in the field of digital currency, for the purpose of which can answer the investor

I think that Bitcoin will find it very difficult to replace the real money in the literal sense in the nearest 5 years. Since the bandwidth of the network is extremely low, and the fees for transactions is too high. Until these problems are resolved Bitcoin does not become a currency means in everyday life.
