Has Bitcoin reached its goal?

Bitcoin still has a long journey to reach all its goals. Bitcoin was originally enabled to be a means of payment, it has not been maximized in reaching this goal. Bitcoin wants to be acknowledged and gets legal status globally, it has not gained this status from most countries. Bitcoin trip is still long, there is no half. This short trip of bitcoin had to pass various tests and dealing with the haters who want to drop the bitcoin. This makes bitcoin even stronger to achieve its goal. I'm sure that the bitcoin development team is thinking about achieving this goal with all the improvements.

Bitcoin price for now is started to increase and maybe it is still the best time to buy for saving and holding. If you want to be rich then try to hold bitcoin in your wallet for a long time and wait for the price to reach its goal.

I think We all expect the best value from our own tokens, but we all need to have more patients to get the best value. And to achieve the best of bitcoin.
Taking the opportunity to reach the bitcoin goal depends on how you work hard from it.

I think that the real goal is to make people actually using bitcoin. At the moment it's all about the speculation, but this is not the reason bitcoin was born for. I read in this thread $100k, 250k etc, if the people don't use it forget those values.

..i think..Bitcoin does not yet reach its goal..althogh many prople are using bitcoin,,the goal of it to replace fiat currency has not yet come..yeah..many there are lot of investors of bitcoin..and many gain a lot of profit using this coin..but the main goal of this..i think it is not yet happen..

I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

My opinion, I don't think bitcoin has reached it's goal because the bitcoin value keeps increasing day by day. But bitcoin will increase.

I think not. The purpose of bitcoin I think is still not visible because there are still some bitcoins that need to be mine. We will not know it until all the bitcoins have been mined. Perhaps the bitcoin goal is to become a legitimate payment instrument around the world. That's just my opinion.

Due to constant manipulations bitcoin has become even more inflationary than most of fiat currencies.
Price fluctuation of +-200-300% in just a month is definitely not a healthy environment that could attract long-lasting investment - only speculators that earn quick money.
So in this regard we can say that bitcoin has failed to be a safe payment alternative.

We already know that some countries have banned bitcoin, other countries have not reached or can not reach by bitcoin but may be due to slow technological progress. there are only a few countries that have accepted Bitcoin as a valid payment instrument. Bitcoin's struggle was long enough to be a legitimate currency in all his world. as Bitcoiner I hope, more countries will be able to accept the existence of Bitcoin, and make Bitcoin this a legitimate currency. so I'm sure, Bitcoin prices will increase. and the more profits the Bitcoin players can make.

No i don't think it reached it's goal at all because it's still be an illegal stuff in many country . If every countries in this world accepts it , the goal is reached.

No, bitcoin still dont get its main goal even if we are not talking about its price.

Many people still have no idea about what it is and I think its goal is to be used by all people in the world.

I think bitcoin still not reached there goal cause not all country accepted bitcoin as a cryptocurrency . Because bitcoin goal is give us good profit in our investment, but not all country accepted bitcoin. I hope in the future they understand the mission of bitcoin.

You are right, and still bitcoin has not reached its goal so far since it is aiming to change the payment system and I think that bitcoin was just still starting since we are still in the stage of adaptation.

I think maybe bitcoin reach his goal by helping many poor people to have there income,and to have a better life, maybe one of that is the goal of bitcoin.

The main goal of bitcoin is its free circulation as an alternative means of payment around the world so that people can freely use its advantages of financial relations between citizens themselves and also in any kind of business. Bitcoin has not reached this goal yet. On the one hand, bitcoin is mainly used as a means of accumulating value and very little as a means of payment, that is, as money. I dont think so, if how much or money they will have a target. But for me the bitcoin reached the target already. Because we enjoy the feuit of bitcoin as of now. And almost all of my needs the answer is bitcoin that is why i think the the bitcoin teached already.

it's because altcoin refers to the price of bitcoin. so they think bitcoin is best. I also think the same. but in its growth, many ways to make a new altcoin better than bitcoin. one of them is a fork of bitcoin. and when investors underestimate altcoin. they will soon realize. there is altcoin potentially competing with Bitcoin.

No bitcoin is still undervalue and i know for sure that it will increase in price and value in future time. In my point of view, the main thing is to remain as a real investment option and a secure asset for earning profits.
