i think bitcoin will hold the leadership for the next 1 or 2 years.
but maybe after this time it will be possible, that eth will take the leadership.

I think Bitcoin will still be the winner for this year, my predicted Bitcoin price this year will reach the price of 25k USD at the end of the year. Because I saw from previous years, that Bitcoin price increases when the end of the year

I'm ready to bet that the BTC will never be defeated by any altcoin. Think about it, because it all started with bitcoin. It's like a story with gold or any other precious metal.

I think BTC will always be the winner, but in 2018 I think Ethereum should grow a bit. But not much. I think Bitcoin is the most valuable. Ethereum is the fastest. But it grows even more. Ethereum is a coin that can be produced without restrictions. Bitcoin is limited.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?
there is certainly a favorite is the Ethereum, which is on the account of bitcoin, its price is anchinat rapidly decline, I think we will not see its price,which was at the end of 2017,the time has changed and there are new candidates for the main place among the crypto-currencies |

Undoubtedly, Bitcoin is a leader of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin and Ethereum both are the best in all altcoin, some altcoins are doing very well this year still they two are out of the moon.

I think Bitcoin will win this year. Although Ethereum already has a huge user base, its practical application ability still cannot exceed Bitcoin (you cannot use ETH to make any purchases in your life)!

The reason why Bitcoin is still the number coin is cause it still has the first movers advantage, without Bitcoin there would had been no Ethereum. Bitcoin created the markets and platform for Ethereum to develop and thrive in. It is going to take some time before any coin is able to replace Bitcoin as the number one coin.

I still think that BTC is the king of the market, I do not believe ETH can beat the BTC, although in terms of popularity, ETH is the most potential coin, but in terms of value, ETH is still far behind BTC.

Still Bitcoin. Need more time and more big event to beat Bitcoin. Even with ERC20 token or smart contact still not enough yet to dominance cypto.

This year I think all altcoins also bitcoin was loser of the year, just Binance coin and Eos was winner of this year, other all coins droped very much and I think recovery cant come for one month maybe it going to take a year.

This year has just begun and it would be too hard to predict the winner for now, but if you want to predict stats for the last year, then ETH definitely took the edge.
Compared to BTC, the growth in ETH was way more in terms of percentage and it definitely was the leader for the year. A lot of people see ETH as the next big currency after BTC and I am sure that every year only these two currencies will battle neck to neck to be crowned as the ultimate king of cryptos.

it is too early to debate about that. we are only in the mid year sp I am sure that there's more happenings and changes in this industry. but in overall, if we observed about the standing of ethereum and bitcoin. these both are good. but we know that the bitcoin is a lead to all alternative coin although it is not stable. ethereum is the nect after the bitcoin. it is stable but the price is too low but affordable. so this both ate good |

BTC and ETH this year will both increase and reach a high price. Judging from its potential, it seems that the percentage increase of ETH this year will be higher than the BTC percentage. I think ETH has the best edge this year. Many ICO promotion which is all connected to ETH. As the popularity of ETH increases its volume will also increase and it would really affect the price in the near future.

We cant really assume as of now cause its obviously not the the end month of this year. But regarding the price of bitcoin and ethereum, there is still a large gap to fill in ethereum to reach bitcoin's peak price. But it will be possible soon but not this year. Ethereum is still struggle as its price as of now. But in terms of usability, ethereum is best compared in bitcoin.
