Do we really need to hold altcoins

A good knowledge indeed is a must when trading with altcoins since there are some of them are there for one time pump and die roughly, and there are other's who's potential has been diminished and been dump due to some unexpected events. altcoins have high risk but high reward. If you really do your own due dilligence in the coin you want to invest, you can lessen the risk of your investment. But if you want to have a good coin to hold just stick with bitcoin or ethereum as it is low risk but also neutral of having high and low reward.

True. There are very few coins in the market that hold real world applications and solve real world problems. Most of the coins in the market serve the same purpose and aren’t unique. But there are some coins such as NEO, ONT, XRP, IOTA, etc that hold some great technologies and solve real world problems.

if can give a recommendation too there's one coin too we had forgot. that's call Credits (CS). they also have a great's technology. will their fast transaction 1 Million Transaction/Second (TPS , I really sure this become a massive technology invasion on cryptocurrency. they already do a pre realease test and it have a 480k TPS. so this one must be worth for considering

I think we should hold well-known altcoins, they are relatively safe to hold for long-term and they have got the potential to grow in future, but don't hold shitcoins in the hope of getting huge profit.

It is very profitable to keep the altcoins while on a rising market but keeping  altcoins in a falling market can cause more losses than Bitcoin. Choosing good altcoin and keeping it is the investor's personal preference. Personally i usually keep altcoins at 30%  of my bag.

the statement that he pointed out there is indeed a point. but keep in mind that the development of altcoin also sometimes can exceed the bitcoin in the results. therefore withstand bitcoin is an advantage besides holding your bitcoin. though not as powerful as bitcoin but for results cannot be doubted because many altcoins which also has the same potential to be great.

Upon the numerous altcoins I use to get from my campaigns, I try to hold all because of the market situation at hand. For me, I like to do massive investment in crypto currency and I like to prioritize some alts to other, not forgetting bitcoin. I only choose alts that I am confident in and will always trade with them.

because bitcoin is the best coin ever because  investment you are free to choose bitcoin and altcoin because that will be worth. I'm not going to decide that this good coin or that coin is not good, it just makes me a fool. It depends on the situation. Holding altcoins  is you choice. If you can see that the crypto market today is not good and the price is very low then that's the good time to hold you altcoins. Don't rash in selling your coins. Always remember that you invest to get profit not to lose it.

The person is absolutely right as a fall in BTC results in a drastic fall in Altcoins.
However, it is a two side of a coin. A rise in BTC will also results in a drastic rise in Altcoins. So it is left to you to pick your choice according to your risk appetite.
