This all seems incredibly complicated stuff.
But then, I suppose with the nature of Bitcoins being what it is (ie: hackable), it never hurts to be prepared.
In any case, thanks for the information.

Ok again, my prior attempt just fucked up cause off getting logged out while typing this post. WTF ?
How about mining software you didn't write/configure/compile yourself ??
The possibility off build in hacks could be very high, your hardware mining but not for you.
Someone could capture every succesfull hashfind and send all relevant hash info back to the hacker/minerdeveloper without having it send back to the bitcoin-network.
The hacker can then just inject that correct hashblock back into the bitcoinnetwork and receive the rewards. The network would never know the theft was going on and just pays out to the hacker.
Such network communication could be hidden , the way rootkits work.
Am i getting paranoid enough ?
I like this post, PEOPLE need to BE AWARE.

Currency without trust is a currency doomed to die, But with bitcoins procedures, trust should be earned, not expected. Im not saying its smart to send your coins to a guy you knew for a few weeks, but you should'nt void away forum friends because of paranoia.
