That is not on view at this point due to its volatility. Banks take risks quite alright but the risks connected to Bitcoin is high so, banks having to deal with its deposits especially fixed deposits lies in its stability which is somehow in the future.

I think banks don't what to be a high risker that they are holding the whole world money. It would be a mistake I think if they going to offer deposits.

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation. What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc). This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions. P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
Cryptocurrencies are more like Securities or Commodities so their value fluctuates following demand and supply. My answer is banks will not offer BTC deposits. It would be quite enough for me if stock markets offer cryptocurrency trading. Banks though can offer a deposit box where you can store your private key on an envelope or nano ledger s Well thats not impossible to happen that banks is offer bitcoin deposits in future although bitcoin is high risk but by the help of bitcoin technology hoping it will happen soon.

I'm sure if bitcoin is getting popular then it's only natural that someday banks will offer bitcoin deposits, by offering a bitcoin deposit it will make bitcoin increasingly popular and legally recognized in the country.

because BTC continues to emerge I think that banks will soon offer bitcoin deposits, cryptourrency, especially Bitcoin continues to become more known and used for years, and it is not impossible this happened.
there are already banks offering the custody of cryptocurrencies. It's not like they're offering deposits, slightly different service, but it's a start that is showing it's coming

I think this is impossible until the status of cryptocurrencies is determined in most countries, including the United States. Perhaps in the future Yes, but not in any time soon.

If the cryptocurrency does not come into conflict with the law and is allowed at the state level, deposits will be possible.

That could be possible in the future because as the technology becomes high tech for sure the adoption of crypto currency could be adopt as well by local banks. Offering crypto currency deposit could bring additional income to the banking industry business.

Knowing cryptocurrency's volatility I doubt if they will offer this to all their clients, some people loan on their banks to invest on cryptocurrency and now they are losing on both, on the bank's interest and the value of the coins they are holding, so I doubt if they will ever implement this.

This is possible in the future , we cant determine but there is a chance. And if ever that this thing finally happen bitcoin will be more popular. As the time passes by banks can adapt bitcoin and probably treat them like its not a big threat to them. As far as I know this is already happening in other country.

I think that such forms of deposits will soon become available to the general public in developed countries. First of all, it will be available in such countries as Japan, Switzerland, Singapore. Because these strange ones are the most loyal to crypto-currencies and related projects.

The bank relies on the government so that if the government allows crypto to run in the banking world then I think the Bank will start facilitating it. And that will be very good in my opinion. In the near future I think they will adjust and adapt to it.

as long as bitcoin and the system are not in accordance with the system that is applied to the banking system at this time (also applicable) then bitcoin and banks will never unite. Then the bank will never offer a bitcoin deposit

has the bank ever offered a bitcoin deposit?
Among the emergence of bitcoin is full of pros and cons, for the current situation, the bank may not want to accept the risk that will occur. But if that happens maybe it will be the latest breakthrough in the banking sector.

That can not be sure but in my opinion it can happen because bitcoin has spread to the world and is able to surpass the value of banks that the bank gradually loses interest.

Indeed, it could be difficult for a bank to established bitcoin as deposit since the value of bitcoin is very volatile. We don`t know when will it have and when will it not - depending on the trust of the people. Thus, banks will not risk this kind of opportunity in the financial market perhaps due to the fact of its volatility. We know that bitcoin is very useful and might be for the future but this kind of institution do not see things much way.

The beauty of bitcoin is that we do not rely on banks to lose our money. We are our own banks. Would you really trust banks with your bitcoin all be it the same can be said for fiat.
