I'm sure we'll see it in less than a dozen years! Bankers do not miss profit, and Bitcoin is a very profitable investment. That's why we just need to wait a little.

I don’t think so that will happen. Seeing the current scenario, I guess banks hate cryptocurrencies. They will obviously not encourage something that can replace their mere existence. Cryptocurrencies are decentralized which means they are not backed by any authority. They also eliminate the need of intermediaries by establishing a direct contact between the parties thereby making banks totally unnecessary.

I don't actually see any need for Bitcoin bank deposit. Why do you need the bank? You already have your blockchain wallet where you are expected to be your own bank? If Bitcoin was created to be deposited in banks, then it would have been of no use for the decentralised blockchain technology.

I'm not sure that this situation is possible. Bitcoin is very poorly suited to formal banking operations. And banks will not spend energy and money on adapting their system.

Yes many companies are now adopting this kind of technology and generating profits from the beginning. Maybe someday the bank will realize the huge potential and advantages offered by Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, it is only a matter of time before the majority of them can join the trend, so let's hope so. They will target investors or Bitcoin holders who do not really understand what Bitcoin, being your own bank. by saying that their Bitcoin will be safe in their hands. You know how banks do well in making money.

Hmmm, why not. If in the near future bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be legalize and considered as money or legal tender then if banks is still present that day Smiley for sure they will offer deposit for cryptocurrency. And most probably that time, bitcoin or any other crypto will stabilize in a way just like foreign exchange is. Let wait and see guys. Smiley

I think the bank will not offer bitcoin to its customers. because it will reduce their customers because many people know that bitcoin is very promising.

If bitcoin continues to improve and potentially skyrockets next year then it is certain that banks are not able to stop users so receiving bitcoin deposits is something to be done.

Yes they will definitely and many banks has already consider doing that for an example : Swiz bank has decide to sell and buy bitcoin for there customers which is a bold move from a banking perspective and a great positive new for the crypto community and bitcoin currency so yes again the banks will allow bitcoin deposits in the near future

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
Yeah, it can be but if you look to the situation its quite far from being implemented since banks do regulate fiat currency. Banking system is counterpart of the system where bitcoin ia running. If banks would let that bitcoin deposit, price will be going to quite stable and economic aspect of fiat currency will surely crash.

As i know that bitcoin is one of the enemy of banks in whole world mate.because they are competing into bitcoin through people storing their money into banks and others right now are into bitcoin. Instead of putting their money into banks, they store it into bitcoin wallet which is more reliable to them.

Banks are naturally resistant to it because it acts as competition but eventually they are going to have to accept bitcoin as a form of payment because of market pressures. Banking is extremely competitive and once one bank does something the others have to follow or they risk losing customers.

If Bitcoin ever has suitable rules and other bank relevant options Bitcoin will be accepted  by banks. This will take few more months for this kind of offer.

Idk in other countries, but clearly here in my country, that possibility is unlikely to ever exist. The use of currencies other than the rupiah is not permitted and of course the crypto currency including bitcoin will be difficult to accept in official financial institutions.

This is a very debatable aspect as we might not know what will happen in the near future, That's how unpredictable the crypto market is, However as time goes by, and the technology is picking up and attracting more attention, you might not know if the banking sector will embrace it, But there is a possibility that they will or risk being faced out

I do not know about deposits, but in Ukraine for example there is a state bank - Privatbank. So in this bank bitcoin quotes could be seen earlier on their official website. I do not know if the bank took bitcoins for payment, but I think once they posted a bitcoine rate on their official website, it is likely that soon the bank will start taking bitcoins for payment.

This is something many of us are looking forward to see in the future as the world gradually accepts Btc. This will be a good news to the crypto world though but how many of us will choose to deposit at a bank with a fixed interest over a year while leaving it in your wallet can earn you more profits

Currently there is no bank that offers bitcoin deposit,Most banks today reject the existence of criptocurrency / bitcoin, but I am sure as time goes by the bank will offer bitcoin deposit  and receive bitcoin.

I agree with you about the time. It must be a good organized relation about us uses and the Bitcoin system. But I sing the price Falls as a deposit will be too much expensive.
