Banks are all time focused on security & profit. Everything depends upon this two main column. If they get the good profit they must be interested about deposit any currency. As a security, they always try to reduce risk. As bitcoin involved some risk so they need to take some more time for allowing bitcoin deposit.

There are possibilities of growing market of cryptocurrencies and soon some banks will also offers a variety of bank insurance including depositing a number of bitcoins.

Well maybe you're right, I can see some banks offering to hold your coins for you for a certain fee or to invest it for you for an interest or something.

It can be happen when bitcoin will be legally allowed in any country and this is acceptable in every transaction system . people will be use to it . but I think this is not possible and if ever it will be possible still need many years to establish bitcoin legally

The day will surely come, looking  at how widespread cryptocurrencies is flying lately, the future looks bright. With the introduction of ATMs that supports bitcoin in Belgium, I am looking forward to hearing the  great news when bitcoin will be   accepted  in banks.

I think yes, because over time, banks will not have much choice. People will want to make deposits in bitcoin, and banks want to earn money) Grin

Probably not, think about banks, they will never allow to deposit bitcoin because it could be laundered money, and that is going to collapse the actual system. Think about it good before.
It would be awesome, but it is not realistic

Maybe some of them but I don't want banks to get that deep involved into bitcoin but if this happens I guess I'm ok with it but I will never use it as I prefer to be in control of my funds. This is anyway a question that only time will give the answer as we are still in early phase of bitcoin adoption.

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

Bitcoin price is very unpredictable and not that stable.  I guess the banks will offer someday a bitcoin deposits but with lots of regulations since there is great possibility to gain and loss too.

Same with my thoughts, I think banks will offer bitcoin deposits in the future. There are many possibilities and yes, bitcoin is possible to be accepted by the bank.

Banks can't ignore cryptos for longer now, they need to adapt, accept major coins or create their own. In both scenarios, they must begin trading in cryptos too. If they choose to launch their own token, they need to give the chance to change existing cryptos into their, at least.

I mean they can make it harder with forbidden exchanges and services, so you can not withdraw money from the ATM but all that can be managed. To be honest, there are many countries that have accepted bitcoin and some countries do not accept it officially but as much as I know banks fear bitcoin because they see bitcoin acting as their competitor so I do not Think of it as easy going this way.

If they allow bitcoin as a payment and then BTC price drops and bump there will be big problem for the banking side. You are literally going to kill yourself if you are the bank, cryptocurrencies are decentralizd and banks are centralized which is contrary to each other. All in all, this sounds improbable and impractical. Bank and bitcoins are not the same thing. Fiat currency and crpyto currency are two different things.

It would be stupid that we did not think of their plans about it. When it happens now is outside any doubt. Furthermore, we will only receive a negligible benefit. This implies that it may be able to support the cost of encryption or otherwise.

We will not disclose the possibility of this happening. If the bank will take the bitcoin deposit then I think it will take time to discuss. Then if it will be acceptable it will give a lot of volume to the BTC.

I don't think bank will allow bitcoin as deposit option, because if the bank accept the transactions lot of money-laundry things will happens so many countries are banning bitcoin transactions because it is very difficult to track the transactions and no body know about the senders and receivers details, so bitcoin is good for online transaction , it is very easy to use also, but some fact is again bitcoin transactions.in future may be more secured technology will overtake bitcoin and crypto currency

I don't think that banks will ever venture in to crypto-trading. But in case some of the Bitcoin ETFs are approved, then you may be able to trade with your ETF units through the demat accounts.
