Ripple wants the government to take control of the matter. This week Ryan Zagon, the head of Ripple's relationship with regulators, urged the British government to create rules that would balance the risk and innovation. Zagon compared the current state of the markets with the early stage of the Internet: "Today we need more clarity, more rules and more certainty"

Bitcoin must be the most. How can altcoin be able to overcome it?
It is difficult for the altcoin to pass bitcoin. Although eth has great potential, it is not sufficient to overcome bitcoin. Other currencies are not able to pass bitcoin because bitcoin is widely used by people

Is there any compulsion that only one will survive? I mean both can survive. But if you are asking that which will win then its Bitcoin I guess. Altcoins are still dependent on Bitcoin. So when in Bitcoin increase the price of Bitcoin increases, when investments in Altcoins increase then also price of Bitcoin increases. When selling Altcoins the price of Altcoins decrease but Bitcoin’s value stays the same as Altcoins are sold for Bitcoin.

Actually no once control over the market price of the crypto aside from the investors who are contributing in that crypto. As we all know that these people had relatively smart and will not invest in bitcoin if they had seen something that is volatility. So maybe choosing an altcoin is a good choice for an investors to earn. There are many altcoins in the market that are strong and is a good to choose in investing cryptocurrency.

Actually there are so many promising altcoins which have the potential to reach high level of success soon.
But I believe that Bitcoin is still the most valuable crypto currency right now, and it is already influencing all the altcoins markets almost.

base on my own opinion and experience. most of the time that i recognize if bitcoin will fall all of the altcoins will fall too. in that thing im pretty sure that bitcoin will take control of the market. and the other reason why bitcoin is taking control of the market is because bitcoin is the mother of all altcoins.

Bitcoin would always be the biggest crypto in the market,
I still think that there is no alt-coin that could replace Bitcoin right now and it qould still be a good choice to hold.

In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

I believe Bitcoin will take control of the market. Because bitcoin is more popular and more valuable than altcoin. It is my opinion.

For me, bitcoin and altcoins are digital currencies that have effects on each other, however at this point altcoin are still dependent to bitcoin. However, anything can happen in the future, maybe there will come a time that altcoin can be strong and move without depending on bitcoin. But then, i believe that bitcoin still one of the strongest digital currencies in today's market.

Bitcoin is always number one. Look at the market allcoin will fluctuate in bitcoin. If a coin is spent to pay for a particular market then it can only hold itself.

so many big investors consider to trade with altcoins as they tend to have higher ROI and within a shorter period of time. So they always can have their own trajectory but to take the control of the market is very hard because after they get the ROI they don`t care about most of alts.

It is very tough for Altcoins to over take Bitcoin as they still rely on Bitcoin. But many Altcoins are rising and proving to be as good as Bitcoin but they will never surpass Bitcoin's massive popularity. Bitcoin can never be compared to any Altcoin. It is pointless to do so.

Bitcoin and Altcoins are two different Crypto-Bubbles. They both will control their own market because they both have separate demand in the market. So I don’t think that only Bitcoin or only Altcoin will take control of the market.

In my own humble opinion, i think no altcoin can surpass bitcoin. The prices of these coins depends on the price of bitcoin,so it's nearly impossible for altcoin to displace bitcoin

I believe that everything is subject to bitcoin. even if it does not obey, it just depends on it, in particular, the altcoins rely on the bitcoin course.

Bitcoin dominates, because it occupies 38% of the total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market. You can also buy any currency for BTC.
