Great.. Looks like the new forum is down. One of the reasons why this one could still serve as a backup maybe
Typical, I turn out the lights and not even 20 minutes later...... The new board is being kinda kicky right now, but it's obviously getting a lot of traffic (or maybe some DDOS joker). I'm having no problems posting and all, but am getting kicked occasionally. maybe you can blame me LOL. Lights are on again over there, so it was a quick fix at least (or was it emule failure?)

Total: Fee earned 701996 NXT 6483973064837388393 has mined 163299 NXT. The 2nd is 4747512364439223888 with 101830 NXT. In the table below is the top "miners" and their cumulative NXT amount and cumulative percentages. In the forum was yesterday a nxt balance distribution: top100 has 82.7% https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg5034054#msg5034054 In mining/forging the distribution is worse: 4 accounts have mined 56.7%, 28 accounts have mined 90%, and 98 accounts 99% and 400 accounts 100%. Fee Earned % TOP accounts cumulative cumul. 163163 23.2 6483973064837388393 253458 36.1 4747512364439223888 334469 47.6 12692935506199079028 398066 56.7 9433259657262176905 433008 61.7 2159498187382012684 458350 65.3 2584657662098653454 480373 68.4 501797 71.5 516684 73.6 528616 75.3 540357 77.0 551740 78.6 562741 80.2 571905 81.5 579116 82.5 585703 83.4 591579 84.3 597233 85.1 602481 85.8 606923 86.5 610916 87.0 614900 87.6 618815 88.2 622026 88.6 625180 89.1 628267 89.5 631337 89.9 634377 90.4 Is that 6483973064837388393 some special account? it has had at maximum ~ 3 Million NXT, but it has earned fees almost double than those 50 Million's accounts. Total: Fee earned 784334 NXT : 82000 NXT more than in 11th Feb (is that increase possible? - otherwise some data error). Cumulative % of fee earned, starting from TOP1 20.8 34.3 44.6 53.4 57.8 61.9 TOP's share is smaller than earlier. In mining/forging the distribution is now: 4 accounts have mined 53.4% (less than before), 28 accounts have mined 88% (less), and 98 accounts 97.9% (less) and 590 (more) accounts has forged 100% i.e. 590 accounts has got some fees. Something has made the distribution "better" ... 7th Mar 2014 Total: Fee earned 801279 NXT : 16000 NXT more than in 20th Feb Cumulative % of fee earned, starting from TOP1 20.4 34.1 44.2 52.8 57.2 61.3 TOP's share is smaller than earlier. In mining/forging the distribution is now: 4 accounts have mined 52.8 % (less than before), 28 accounts have mined 87.4 % (less), and 98 accounts 97.7 % (less) and 658 (more) accounts has forged 100% i.e. 658 accounts has got some fees. So ... distribution is going on, but very slowly. 24th Mar 2014 Total: Fee earned 815599 NXT : 14000 NXT more than in 7th Mar Cumulative % of fee earned, starting from TOP1 20.0 34.1 44.0 52.5 56.8 60.9 TOP's share is smaller than earlier. In mining/forging the distribution is now: 4 accounts have mined 52.5 % (less than before), 28 accounts have mined 86.8 % (less), and 98 accounts 97.2 % (less) and 718 (more) accounts has forged 100% i.e. 718 accounts has got some fees. So ... distribution is going on, but very slowly. ( repeating myself )

I figured out how to choose a random number deterministically within the decentralized Nxt network, where someone with 90% of the forging power as determined by proof of stake could only get lucky enough to manipulate this number 1 in a billion years at a rate of 1 block per minute. It would only require 300 forgers online, we currently have more than this. If we have get 500 forgers participating this number drops to someone with 90% of the forging power only getting lucky enough 1 in approximately 40 Octillion years.
And it scales nicely and it's fast, could easily be done. No proof of work required. Could probably cut down how long you lock up funds and changes to forging power to 10 blocks, say 60 if you want to be safe. I'm telling you, it's big. Already run it by one person, would like to run it by others.
If I were working for Nxt it'd be a different story but I don't want to just put the whole idea if I can get a bounty on it. If I can proof this, is there a bounty on it? Or you guys already have a work around in mind that could achieve this?

maybe you should pm cfb or JL directly ? Good idea. Also it's a trustless solution, as long as a single peer is honest, it'll produce a truly random result. And that 90% number is if he plays a couple tricks. I think I've got all the attack vectors worked out. Guys, buy Nxt.. it's the future. I PMed them, we'll see what happens. Can't wait to share it, and get people beating it up to see if they can find flaws. Maybe behind the scenes first because unless I'm missing something, I'm convinced this is the holy grail that cryptos have been searching for when it comes to efficiency.

Does nexern works with his client?
- you keep repeating the same question. There is such feature as reading the last posts of a person on this forum: hi, have been very busy the last 10 days with an important RL extended service request for a big data project i have built for a company some times ago, so i haven't had the time to follow the thread and development. as soon i am finished this service (this weekend) i am again on the client and asset exchange even if there are some very nice clients already in use, since my client structure differs from the current ones.
ps: i have recieved three donations for the client work (165k nxt) which i would pass back, if i am not able to deliver until end of month (never ever took funds for nothing and don't intend to change this). just mentioned in case the current boring data work keeps me longer busy as expected.
