When I try to register an alias what do I enter under uri.

Thanks!

I am a rookie
You and I have the same question
Who can help

I believe you can leave it blank for now. I think its for using the alias as a pointer to a website, but you can always change once you own the alias.

Yes, you don't have to enter anything.
You can just leave it blank if you want to.

Is nxtforum.org down?

there are currently no username or IP bans in the server.  The server logs show you last logged in 10 or so hours ago.
reboot PC, router, modem, wifi.

Done. Nothing helps. I think ISP screwed something, but very strange why nxtforum.org, while everything else is working Sad

Strange day, NRS public node showing unconfirmed transactions again, which are older than the last block. Jean-Luc said, that with some latest version he get rid of them, but for me still seems problem remains.

EDIT: seems somebody flooding with aliases

These 2 accounts must be the same guy, maybe he has more, taking now every 3 character alias.

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=2918960381816302856

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=3000&acc=1503627182652425072

Aliases were stucked around 63/64k for a lot of days.Suddenly its on 71500, so probably he has around 7k aliases bought.

It's not an old account. That blockexplorer is broken, nexern himself said so recently.
I rebooted my nrs after weeks running it smoothly and everything seems fine now. I hope it wasn't me causing this whole problem to everyone (sorry if I sounded arrogant, am sort of noob)

yes, that's correct. there is an issue with the timestamp order within account/transaction view.
i am working at this now to fix this.

That is BTER account. It seems that their withdrawals are stuck as well. I got two withdrawals stuck on processing for about 2 hours. Before they would go through every time in matter of minutes.

Is this account registering the aliases?

These 2 things might be connected.

Sad, I registered on BTT for this thread, back in November. Or maybe that was the older one.
But still, it was for Nxt and that will always remain by best and first alt crypto involvement! Although very discreet, I enjoyed reading all posts of all of you guys - I mean, almost all. Thank you, and see you in the next one! Let's just leave in here the bit of aggressivity and judgement that created some conflicts and deception at some point. The rest of it is just productivity and pure history

Don't be sad, everything will be ok
Good luck to you

Chrome down message: resolving host..., then This webpage is not available

Try changing your local DNS servers to point to Google's or to OpenDNS.

Well, I got two withdrawals stuck on processing for about 2 hours. Before they would go through every time in matter of minutes.
I also see in blockchain explorer that nobody withdrew anything from BTER for about 7 hours and this is hard to believe.
So there is something wrong.

I am telling you this is BTER.COM (exchange) main account. If this account is really registering aliases than something is really wrong with them.
