Come-from-Beyond, please Smiley
my paper:
Quote
BCNext paid a team of core developers to help him with the client and create some functionalities like decentralized exchanges. One member of the core development team Come-from-Beyond was paid by BCNext to work on Nxt from December 2013 till April 2014. Come-from-Beyond is a 34 years old programmer from Belarus. On January 2014 joined Jen-Luc a core team as a non-paid programmer.
May I know how many core developers exist? BCNext paid your team - so how many people are in your "team"? Smiley

Klee's guys r supposed to work on the core too. Jean-Luc knows the details.

PS: I work since October (started with client part), also u can add that I live in Minsk, it's the capital of Belarus.
thank you,
So I could also add some pictures Cheesy but rather not

Still don't know whether to invest in this. I like the idea of it, but I don't think the program is easy enough to run for less technically minded people. Also there's no media buzz about it, when will it start to take off?

Litecoin is known as the silver of Bitcoins gold. Doge is mentioned due to it's meme popularity. What about NXT?

Basically I'm asking why should I buy some NXT?

In order to integrate NXT to our sites, we need to be able to generate NXT addresses for all our users automatically upon signup. How can we do this?

Please answer by sending us PM, because we can easily lose track of the thread as its quite big.

no I am figuring all of this out on my own right now actually.  Are u talking of gavin andresen?  smart guy he would have seen through this.  Look, crypto currencies and transaction systems have been around a long time.  Satoshi's breakthrough was basing crypto currency on an unsolvable problem.  This made them scarce.

Yes, I'm talking about gavin andresen. This was his point of view.

Let's continue the discussion...

U said
Quote
NXT ISNT BASED ON MINING SO THE ENTIRE THING IS COPY AND PASTABLE!!!!

Does it mean that original of

isn't worth a lot?

can this be copied perfectly an infinite number of times?

Yes. U have just done it when quoted my post.

ok, i edited before you replied and u decided to ignore.  NO, the original Mona Lisa cannot be perfectly copied and infinite number of times.

Furthermore, the image posted in your response is worthless.  Did you pay for it?  NO.  You copied and pasted it for free.  The digital image of the mona lisa is worthless because it is infinitely copyable.

The original painting of the Mona Lisa is very expensive because it is ONE OF A KIND AND NOT INFINITELY COPYABLE.

Will you copy Nxt code and then pay $$$ to me or other people? The original invention and implementation of Nxt is very expensive because it is ONE OF A KIND AND NOT INFINITELY COPYABLE.

What does this mean? please speak english.  How is it not infinitely copyable?

All "addresses" already exist. All you need to probably do is generate a random, unique password, then do:

http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getAccountId&secretPhrase=PASSPHRASE

If by chance you hit on an existing account, you can check if it is, by doing

http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getAccountPublicKey&account=xxx

which will generate an error 'unknown account' if the account does not yet exist (which is what you want).

You could also check for any transactions if you wanted.. but I don't think that's necessary.

http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getAccountTransactionIds&account=ACCOUNT&timestamp=0

I may be wrong though! Please test carefully.

is this correct?

Aaah I am so tired of repeating this..... Well so crypto made you notice everyone can make a currency out of their asses by copying another.

Welcome to the real world not every fiat is made with a different special kind of paper and ink. And most of them are just numbers pulled of x goverment's ass.

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

His statement is based on this quote, as far as I can see:

Someone asked me about Cryptsy. They did contact me a hour ago. I already sent all info they asked for.

Yes it is correct and it is how my exchange works. Generate a random string for each user at signup, use that as the secret passphrase, more security? Okay have a long ass random string a secret amd let the passphraae in the code as (userrandomstring+generalrandomstrin) amd you are set.

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

Are stealth adresses an issue for Nxt?

So far every transaction can be followed back, so the focus is on transparency. Is this wanted or should the focus be on anonymity?

Hi !

I'm a newbie in this forum, but I wanted to ask a question.

If there will be multiple applications of NXT in the future. Are we going to use the same passphrase that unlocks our account for these applications?

I think it will be more secure when we don't use the one and only passphrase we have of our account.

I hope this is possible.

Hi Fatih, welcome to the forum. Smiley You can always create multiple accounts using multiple passphrases and use different ones for different purposes. For instance, some people use a separate accounts for registering aliases and storing NXT.

Folks in this thread like to discuss a lot of technical stuff, sometimes help requests get overlooked. Check out https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/ and https://nextcoin.org/ instead.

Alright, thanks!

I don't have any technical knowledge to support you guys, but I follow this thread everyday and I'm excited about NXT.

I'm going to make a simple website though with templates that I can use. In English, Dutch and Turkish. If that is okay.

Privacy is a pretty hot topic, even though I don't see it discussed that often around here.
Does someone know about a debate with pros and cons on the privacy issue? I don't see governments accepting NXT if it is completly anonymous.

And don't kid yourself. For widespread adoption of this, you need the backing of governments. Not the banks, but the authorities.

Nxt already implemented this via Alias System. All that u need is to put into URI an encrypted account.

Nxt is government-incompatible. U should stick to fiat if u need compatibility.
