So basically you just need to send to a node 128 characters, (the tx bytes) and its all done, now the node must recieve this via sms and respond via sms, that is quite easy, I will communicate the android client dev for collaboration.

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

That's gonna be interesting. How could one possibly obscure changes in balances which equals transaction from/to escrow accounts?
It's a long story, let's move to Qubic forum. Done. http://qubic.boards.net/thread/21/anonymity-transactions

great job, nexern. However, I agree with the guy who criticized the design: Is it a big deal to change it on default to something more appealing - today's designs of UIs tend to go more to a "light" direction meaning little opacity, brighter colors, corresponding fonts etc. Would that be possible? Would be worth the effort coz it's way more appealing to sceptical Average Joe

the tournaments on FICS will take place in February. Regarding the prizefund on ICC (which is the commercial version of FICS and based on their code):
I was around in 1992 The majority of ICS code (which later become a commercial site) was written by Daniel Sleator http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Sleatorwho later commercialized it in 1995 leading to big dispute. Later ICC sued FICS for keep copying ICC new features (like "Seek" command, for example). There is no comparison between ICC and FICS. ICC has thousands of active grandmasters and International masters and FICS does not. Have you ever been a paying member on ICC?

Average Joes could use some other clients and hardcore users stick to nexern's implementation.

Can you politly ask him to write something down? we NEED this desperatly !
Asked ages ago, his position sounds like that (my wording): Satoshi's whitepaper has never been critically reviewed. This led to the situation when serious problems like Centralization, Selfish Mining, etc. were revealed too late. More problems will arise in the future (Huge Fees, Ecological Catastrophe). By refusing to write the whitepaper BCNext forces us to analyze Nxt concept as deep as possible.[offtopic] Had you noticed that when writing Satoshi and BCNext both used double spaces after periods? Just sayin'. [/offtopic] Satoshi never used "can not" phrase

Summary for my AM contest entry: Project Wake-Up Call :-) The idea of this project was that sooner or later account holders will use software (clients, BC Explorer, etc.) that will show the plain text messages received on their account. Thus, I sent out plain text messages to the 144 accounts with more than 50.000 NXT in it that had no public key in the blockchain. The message said: The link in the message goes to http://nxtsolaris.wordpress.com/nxt-no-public-key-landing-page/ which gives a short explanation on how to secure an account by doing an outgoing transaction. Result:As of today 65 of the 144 accounts (46%) I've sent a message to now have a public key (though of course not necessarily because of my message). I set up a donation address on the webpage above to measure the effect of this project and received nothing, which might just mean that the effect of this project were minimal. Other result:

In the spirit of speculation on BCNEXT here's some food for thought. His account creation date is 27 sept Says he's a veteran member and will stay annon States he will invest in NXT with his own btc Stops using account November 8 User xibeijan stops using his btt account 7 days before BCnext registers Has enough post at the time to be considered a veteran He also uses double space after period. Doesn't use account the entire time BC is using his. Starts using account again November 22 after Guinness block launches(14 days after bc stops using his) Is an initial stakeholder That's a 73? In one chance I'm right minus all the people that use single spaces...odd are getting better.

Salsacz: The "Procentual distribution of Bitcoin vs. Nxt" diagram has some flaws. http://a.disquscdn.com/uploads/mediaembed/images/818/9098/original.jpg1) It shows two identical pie charts, with exactly the same colors. Surely, if you claim BTC and NXT have different distributions, then the piecharts should look different? 2) No clear markings/labels and colour differences are introduced on the piecharts to show clearly which one is NXT and which one is BTC. At least draw a line up the middle and use different colors.
