Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Any reason for today's price jump? I mean, there's always a reason. But does anyone know what it is?

Maybe news that there is other developer (R-T-B in this forum) who is also trying to create mixing service for StableCoin in case artos, the main developer, doesn't finish it in some reason.

I'd like to think it's more that Artos posted just a few posts above you. Smiley

This too of course. But for me news, that You are also working on this, made the situation even more certain.

Glad I can help with the confidence of this coin, but in all honesty I think ArtOS has a big head start on me. Smiley

Something has to be done soon to get the coin to gain attraction, otherwise I highly doubt that this could be going somewhere..
Nevertheless I'll keep holding my stake, whatever happens.

If you read any of the recent posts you would know the developer is working on the mixing service, and has taken time to collect names for the beta.

So yes, something is being done. Hold onto those coins

I just bought over 2.5k @6010 satoshi (spending all of my BTC) and the price now fell down to 5460 satoshi.
Damn.
Typical example of my luck.

Short term fluctuations and low volumes, unless that 2.5k represents your life savings don't worry be back up again soon Wink You'll go nuts if you watch prices minute to minute.

Do not fear my friend, it looks as though the price is already rebounding. Plus, once the mixing service gets released, the demand is sure to drive the price up!

Thanks for the advice. I'm actually planning on abandoning everything coin-related for a few months, because watching the prices makes me go nuts, exactly as you said. Grin

Yeah I know what you mean. If you were to leave the coins for a few months, boy it would be a rush coming back after all that time and seeing what happened to all the coins you owned lol
