HODLing will not get you into nowhere state. As a matter of fact the company itself provides a great recommendation since it is the safest and the most convenient way to earn money at low effort.

Of all the things that i would like doing in cryptoworld, HODLing is what i like to do especially when these cryptocurrency is worth my time holding it. I don't care if i lose some because of hodling because i believe that this crypto/s that i am holding will really take off again.

The truth is this because if you hold altcoins or Token ICOs during this time, the loss is hard to avoid because the rates of altcoins and ICO Token are profoundly affected by the exchange rate of BTC and ETH. That you should invest long-term in ETH, then hold until late 2018 would be more appropriate than investing in altcoins, ICO Token.

Perhaps the crypto currency is not a magical place, but if the coin is promising, then it really will soar in price!

I don't believe that HODLING will take us nowhere. Those who get to nowhere are those who are using holding in a wrong way. We must consider always the possibility that holding will take time and need patience.

holding will not get you nowhere. holding gives you an opportunity to earn high profit, and the demand that you are talking about will come when the project itself has a latest updates or plan that will make the price increase due to its demand.

Yes of course. Holding can give us a big opportunity.
But unfortunately, not everyone is suitable for holding assets for a long time. Because holding is only for patient people.

Not all coins and ICOs are suitable for HODL. We all know that this year's market is terrible. Most coins will disappear in this bear market. If we hold some worthless altcoins, you will lose everything.

Should always know when to hold and when to sell. Before investing, one should have a background information on the choice of coin and you also need to be strategic in your investments.

True,  success stories comes from holding there coins. It is part of there strategic decisions making.  When people understand effectiveness of it then they will realize that it is best to hold and be aware of the market updates.

Now there is a period of formation and transformation of the crypto-market, I think in the future there will be lucky people like the early investors in bitcoin, but most will be absorbed by the market!)

If you HODL coins for 3 to 6 months that's not HODL.for example do some research on coins like ripple and dogecoin, anyone who HODL these two coins in the past years must have thought it will never moon, isn't it? HODL is very tasking and that tasking is patience ,a very longer patience.Remember, doge coin was once called shitcoin.

Well, yes, I also see this often in telegram groups. Projects that started ico in 2017 still feel very good in a falling market. But those projects that started ico in 2018, especially in February, are less capitalized and on the verge of bankruptcy. For half a year very few projects are traded at a high cost than at ico and literally can be counted on the fingers of one hand. For the bounty to find a good project is already a great success.

If you hold coins that have absolute no future here, then for sure you are holding them for nothing but this is your fault that you have bought only bad projects that just wanted to scam people for some more money but if you are a smart guy and have patience and knows exactly when to make your moves, then you are holding the right coins.

Holding for just holding sake does not make sense. You must know what you are holding or else, you would lose a lot of money in this market. Knowing what you are doing and holding would make you the most profit

I agree that the price of a coin depends on the bidding. However, the presence of a work product affects very much. If the project at the moment does not have such, and plans to create it in the near future, then it makes sense to hold it.

Yes you are right, the price will be depending on the bidding and that is the reason why you should hold your coins and wait for the highest price to come out before selling.

I think you are wrong, because the price of a coin will fly up or not depends on it and on the product that it promotes!

HODLing will get you nowhere if you just hodl it. You don't know when to grab profit or sell them at a right time. You always think it will go up higher until the pump ends and feel disappointed because of what you did. I've experienced it and it became a lesson to me. Never get greedy, know when to take profit. Be contented with it and even if it's price still continues to rise up after you sell, just believe it won't last long and it will dump again and it's a chance to buy to make some profit again when it pumps.

If your token that you hold has a chance to grow and succeed ,so to choose good coin for holding you must take some research and prove it for their staff if their legit by knowing their identity.

it certainly depends on what kind of coin you hold and how you hold. Trading needs practice and skills and you need to understand that in the crypto market trading is dangerous in general, so the holding strategy is not bad at all. But cleverly. Hold only good coins and sell on obvious pumps, hypes, good news; when all are rushing to buy you sell.

I'm here on the forum saw one post where the dude said that he is holding a ripple and even on the January's pump he did not sell it and is ready to keep on holding for years. This, of course, is very stupid.
