Im testing p2pool too, i have optimized my setting so i have only 4% rejected share (the average on p2pool is near 23%). I should get with 7400kh something about 50 000/day. Dogehouse gave me about 50k/day, i'm mining since 22h yesterday on p2pool and it's 13h so it has been 15 hours that i'm mining and i have only get 20 000 doge...

I don't understand why people says that it give better rewards, it's not true. Maybe i have to wait 24h to see how it goes but im a little bit worried about p2pool

LOL no p2p is not scam, there is not somebody controlling this, it's all of us who with combined effort mine

Now, you are right about the pay, it's been an extremely bad luck day today, only 2nd time since i mine I see this bad luck! I can only advise to not give up and continue on your p2p pool, statistically speaking this spree of bad luck will have to stop soon and much coins might be comming our way

My wife did, while I was moving my miners back to mine dogecoin (I personally am in favor of leaving the code 'as-is' and allowing 10k new DOGE to be generated per block - it will help ensure the stability of the coin and not just the first 50,000 miners who wanted to 'get rich fast.'  All 'real currencies' have some kind of 'inflation.'  IMOP - Bitcoin and others (with hard caps) will always be valuable - but they may become too value to use on a daily basis making them less appealing to use as currency.  Supplying a steady increase will ensure miners keep the network secure and reduce the swings/crashes in price that BTC endures.  My only concern has been resolved - was the OP said there was a 100B cap and the code didn't reflect it.)

But the Puppy Bowl is like the superbowl, but with doges?  I think it's an annual 'sport.'  We should ask the sponsors to accept DOGE for tickets, souvenirs, refreshments, etc next year.  Might be a good way to, publicly, promote DOGE.

its not a scam its simply cant

all calculator are fu*ked and you need more factors

- you need luck of your share
- you need p2pool hava a luck finding block
-you need to p2pool to find big block (calculator is not random it takes 500k)
-you need to p2pool find many blocks (whats why people min on big pool..to find many blocks then its close to 500k in 7-10 days)

off topic again, but am I an idiot?   I set up my own p2pool node, since most i could find were ~40ms replies.  I got everything setup, but after mining for 12 hours, did not get one coin (i know it takes time to ramp up).   My question though, should i have been mining at stratum+tcp://192.168.0.39 (my vm running my node) vs just the ip?   Is the stratum missing the reason i didn't get any coins mined?   my node showed hashing activity and my miners showed accepted, but I never received anything, and im wondering if it's because i didn't specify the "stratum" protocol in my miner config.
