I noticed trade volume went down on Cryptsy to almost pre-bobsled funding levels.
Then I checked the charts which showed that the "return-to-normal" phase already happened around January 28th due to news that high profile btc business men related to Silk Road were arrested and Russia's warning about bitcoin. Now the news came out BTC China is accepting money orders again, Dogecoin funded a luge olympian, China isn't going to default, and soon the halving will occur.

I'm going to bet, with this recent good news, that Dogecoin isn't going down any further and will soon go up. A lot. Especially once Chinese New Year ends and the Olympics begins. Two big dips involving dogecoin have already occured. The first happened after we reached a high of 270 and then the second occured during all that bad news. We can only go up from here, fear mongerer.

Lesser trade volume and high price shows a great demand for doge still exists and people are mostly holding their coins.

Just as much BTC trade volume can flood back into the market anyway.

By the way. *Looks at price index on Cryptsy*. It was predicted that the Janurary 31 Price of DOGE on Cryptsy = 0.00000144. It is still at 188-190 satoshis.

Question for you guys.

I currently mine on nut2pool, @ 5.3Mh/s.  nut2pool is a Prop pool.   I get ~2k/hour, or thereabouts.   I heard someone mention that netcodepool is a much better reward, as it's a PPLNS pool, but it has a lower hash rate than nut2pool (1.4Gh vs 4Gh/s)   Is it better to swap to netcodepool and their slightly higher mining fee/pplns system, vs nut2pool's PROP payment system?

Looking to get the most reward for my electricity.

We are missing the last part, the one that predicts that goes down. Come back in the 1st of March to make sure that you were right.

FUD.   Block halving ~ 2nd-3rd week of february (~19k blocks to go).   we'll see what happens then.  people said the same crap when doge dropped from ~130->37.

Good luck to you, I just dumped my last 100k DOGEs

Has anyone considered investing in moolah yet? https://moolah.ch/pie
Thanks for that link. I looked into it and could not find any negative comment on them,
they appear to be legit and hard working on interesting technology.
Of course, it is always a jump into the dark to send a company money that you never have seen,
so if you invest - do this with money that you can lose.
I pulled some funds from old Cryptsy orders that didn't go anywhere and sent it to them.
Hopefully Cryptsy will not delay the transfer too much!

Why would you even care what people do with their money or this coin. Why don't you spend your energy in other things?

We will see where the coin is Monday, maybe you will laugh at us (since you care about our cash so much) maybe we will need to comfort you after Monday and tell you we are sorry that the coin didn't crash, because that is the kind of people we are.

Have a nice weekend! Thank you for caring so much about our coins and money!

He's very informative actually, he's right but I'm also here for the money, I will mine and dump this thing as long as it's profitable.

Use your brain for a second, do you think that 2x the profitability of LTC is going to last forever?... there's actually people thinking that it will actually increase in price in the near future, it might do but only a pump and dump and you can ride that wave if you want, for now I'm comfortable getting good profit right now.

Hi yorich,
I am looking into using a proportional pool as failover, since a PPLNS pool will pay only peanuts for occasional contributions.
Still, I am a little lost how large the size of shares is that PPLNS is averaging over, since my meager 210kH should yield about 1800 Doge/day according to calculations and I usually have seen less than that.
Also be aware that there seems to be a bug in the pool software on several pools that promise you double the amount of Doge than you are actually getting. Both the Pool prediction based on the hash rate and the expected earnings per round are double what you actually are getting (for example they promise I get 88 Doge based on the shares I have submitted, but when the block is found I get on average 44 Doge when the reward was indeed 500k, so it seems that the pools are accidentally calculating with the *max* Doge per round instead of the average.
I think that you will get the same rewards at PPLNS pools, once you are through the period of ramping up the shares.

doge graphics suck.
sorry I am not into "cute" b.s.
Pink Floyd might not like you using their trademark, either.

Buddy, you're mining a coin with a shibaken logo and the strength of its community comes from friendly members with a sense of humor and who create graphics and memes in an effort to support that community. If you're looking for a boring, poker-faced community, go work on Wall Street, that's probably more your crowd... keep solo mining in your corner.
When people stop posting graphics and having fun because of guys like you, you'll be sitting on a pile of worthless coins.
About Pink Floyd, it's a nod to a band I like and if they sue me, it would be an honor.

fuck yeah man, these goddamn dickheads are really getting annoying. The greedy money money crowd finally decided doge is worthy of their almighty greed monger rigs and they are about as fun and good for the community as shitting a pineapple. probably couldn't grasp the concept of watching The wall either because it wasn't about some goldenboy fuckbag winning. we need an algorythm to auto ignore all the douchenozzles.
