We would like to sincerely apologize to each and every one of our Litecoin and Dogecoin users for the downtime we are currently experiencing. This week our Dogepool grew quicker than we could have ever expected. While servicing that level of growth was quite a handful on its own, things got absolutely overwhelming for us when we were hit with a massive and continuous DDOS on Wednesday. We worked as hard and as long as we possibly could to get the pool back online but it soon became apparent that MAJOR changes were going to be necessary. Hardware has been purchased, help has been brought in, and we are more determined than ever. There are no half measures being taken. All of our admins arrive in San Jose tomorrow. The Netcodepool war room is setup and ready to go. We will bust our asses and deliver the pool you guys deserve.

Unfortunately what this means is that the the chatroom raffle scheduled for tomorrow must be delayed by one week. We will be adding a SECOND r9 290 to the raffle when it is held on the new date - Dec. 28.

We would like to thank all of you for being so patient with us thus far. We promise you the best days are still ahead for our pool and our community.

if all dogepool owners added .1% to their fee and submitted those earnings to faucets we can all help it spread. Make it happen pool owners! ensure all miners invest and help .

I can't believe how far it has fallen. This coin is really one of a kind and has grown so fast...I've never seen anything like it.

IT'S TIME TO BUY!!!!

i5 3470k
HD 7870
4GB RAM

Was mining for an hour well trying to. Have yet to get anything :/
Sitting at 50-70 KH's, my cooling is not great so don't really want to push my GPU to much, can't get another one if it dies

That's plenty to mine with.  I have and i7 with a 7870 and getting around 10k/day.

It's going to 10 satoshi.... watch.

The miner's will crush it today. The Cryptsy bump is over and now the instamine factor is kicking in.
It's approaching having lost 90% of it's value if it hits 25.

I'm not saying it will not work out long long term. But the next 2 months will be brutal with 800 mil coins a day coming down.
The volume is mostly sells for awhile now.

Bad blood must be cleared. It's getting ugly now.

I'm about to send you some coin but seeing that your rig is faster than mine... Go mine.

I have an old cpu and an HD7770, with intensity set to 12, I can do other stuff while my gpu mine.
I use GPU for mining and I get ~120KH/s at intensity 12 and ~150KH/s at intensity 13. Can go faster if I set the intensity higher but I love my GPU.
I use GUIminer scrypt (same miner I use for mining litecoins) http://guiminer.org/guiminer-scrypt.html

The number of new coins/day will steadily and rapidly decrease with the difficulty going up.

Thing is they can hardly be making anything off it. Infact its probably more profitable mining something else right now. My miners pulled in a measly 13k over night in 12 hours, Down from 70k day before, 120k day before that. Ive not checked the pool luck maybe its a bit out.
So if i mined 26k all day today and sell at 64 satoshi where it is now on cryptsy it makes me .01 BTC for the day- WTF. I can make that and more on almost any coin heh. its beyond retarded now and i really feel sorry for anyone selling because theyve lost the plot.

coins dont decrease til block halving. But if the difficulty goes up it means more miners - so more dispersed.

That's because people are leaving Cryptsy enmasse.  They're more worried about getting charts fixed on the site than resolving the deposit issue.  Look at coins-e or vircurex, screw Cryptsy.
