Think again.  Specs and price coming out within 2-4 weeks.  As soon as they have something, I'm stopping by to visit.  I live about 1.5 hrs. away. https://alpha-t.net/shop/

If those numbers hold true, that soon, LTC could very well see a huge rise in value, similar to what BTC did when the SHA256 ASICs came out. I've already since weeks been thinking about exchanging my other altcoins not for BTC, but for LTC, in anticipation that LTC will grow proportionally more than BTC can grow these days (or perhaps ever...)
I mined LTC when the diff was low and have a few I'm holding.  Thought about exchanging them, but you're right, I think in time LTC will see the same exponential growth that BTC had.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I'm trying to use https://www.multipool.us, but i have some trouble.

Is it normal that when i add a worker i don't have to choose a password for it? i have to use my multipool account password on cgminer?

I tried cgmier with this string cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool1.eu.multipool.us:3352 -u 1 -p password_multipool, but it say "worker name not found".

Any help?

Your worker isn't called just "1", it's likely called yourusername.1, and you don't always have to set a password for the worker - if it's a p2pool then you just write anything as password. The suffixed digit is just to discern multiple miners you have working for the same account, in case you run multiple rigs.

thx!
just one more question: if i set Auto Threshold = 1000, does it mean that every 1000 coins they pay me on the address i have insert?

Yes, but to be accurate: when your mined credit is higher than the threshold all of the credit will be transferred to you.

We have yet to see profitable and plausible scrypt ASICs coming Grin

Gridseed looks promising but not quite profitable at this stage

I saw those from Fibonacci, they claim to do 1-1.2Mh/s at higher the price of similar hashes generating GPU, in return for less power consumption.
Not much big deal

Think again.  Specs and price coming out within 2-4 weeks.  As soon as they have something, I'm stopping by to visit.  I live about 1.5 hrs. away. https://alpha-t.net/shop/
"Taking advantage of our partners workforce and facilities we expect to start shipping 4-5 months after pre-orders are taken"

lmao same shit as bitcoin asic

Product did get delivered though right?

Wow, not only here in England, but only 20 minutes away. I may be interested in pre-ordering a couple of these babies.
It's the power consumption that's the killer for Scrypt mining - and a Scrypt ASIC that I won't be paying customs on, can collect in person, and can actually go banging on the door of the place if they fail to appear?
Sounds good.

this doge is getting worse than kindergarten and will eventually kill it..!
I for one am done with this coin..!
You will find people trolling, having fun and getting on your nerves in any coin you turn your head to, may it be Bitcoin, Dogecoin or Whatevercoin. People are people and not all people do what you want to see. It's just the way things happen to be! Wink  If you aren't at least somewhat tolerant you are going to absolutely freak out.

I'm tolerant with most stuff - but not when someone make a joke of Jesus..

Oh please. People use jesus name/pic for far worse things than dogecoin. Also more people have died in the name of christ than any other reason, surely he's more concern about scrubbing that off his hands than worry about cute shibes.

What if I told you there is/was no jesus?

I've lowered minimum confirmations to 60 on dogepool.net now, that means you'll get your payout earlier after a block has been found.

Its now 0% fee, 100 DOGE minimum withdrawal and only 60 confirmations.

What is your spec
Post a pic of your mining rig with a dog drawn on the side and I will send more then a few

1st floor: block erupters, asicminer blade and jalapeño
2nd floor: 3x r9 280
3rd floor: 3x 7970
4th floor: 2x 7990

...

I'm not greedy, don't need the coins, feel free to give them to someone with a smaller rig Wink

That's one mighty shelf. How do you stand all the noise? I run a single HD7990 and that "blow-dryer" is unbearable. Already ordered a water cooling block so I can manage to run it at full power 24/7 without going insane.

Also, what PSU are you using on top for the dual-7990 setup?

I undervolted as much as I could and it got a bit cooler and more silent. But it's still very noisy, so I just got used to it. The good thing is that I'm saving a lot on house heating Wink

The PSUs are aerocool templarius imperator 1150. I'm powering one of the 7990s with one cable from the PSU above and one cable from the PSU below, as the rig below doesn't need as much. Then I always have to power up the 7990 rig after the 7970 one.

Are your 280x voltage locked? Already tried msi and gigabyte, nasty voltage lock with 1,2V. using a lot of wattage...

And its pain in the ass that 280x do the same job at 1020/1500 as 7970 at 1000/1450. Next revision my ass...
