The # blocks shown by I0guild is the number of blocks they found. Not total number of blocks.
So #2392 doesn't mean it's block #2392. It just mean it's the 2392th block I0guild found.

Ah ok so I am probably fine with my mined i0coins ^^

Either I'm doing something colossally stupid, or something is wrong. I created an i0coin.conf in User->Appdate->Roaming->I0coin and has the lines rpcport=7332 in it. Still does not connect. Is there anything else to add to the conf file that I'm missing?

What is your command line for the miner?

Also, your i0coinc.conf needs to contain these lines (at least):

server=1
rpcuser=xxxx
rpcpassword=xxxx
rpcallowip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
rpcport=7332

Interesting - the infrastructure can't handle a wide public announcement until the difficulty is high enough to prevent all the blockchain forking.

Solution is to set the starting difficulty high enough to prevent early adopters from making easy fortunes, but low enough to not be a barrier to entry.

I wonder what the magic number is.

I'd say probably at least 100K. That would take an average of about 7 minutes or so for 1TH to generate each block.

I think there may have been either CPU or bandwidth issues on the pool too....it seems to be rectified now. Much more stable connection.

BTC guild said I have 106 IOC now. I found that using CGminer will have more share than GUIminer with Phoenix miner.

one of my card running  CGminer and got 7 share since difficult 1 till now.
two of others running GUIminer with Phoenix got none. All stale.

Donate some IOC to me if you think it's working. jWYbNEwWJ1mqFKb5sut781auW6343AhK8Z

LMAO. Someone send me 0.000001 IOC.........

most likely not even profitable at 100k. How much are i0c's worth? .002 btc each, maybe?

Whoa there, remember I0Coin adjusts difficulty for every 5 minutes. A difficulty of 1 is fine, you'd solo just as much or even more because everyone else is in your situation.

Got it to work. For some reason I had all those parameters, but it just didn't want to connect. Oh well. At least I'm in! Yay. Thanks for the trouble though. Much appreciated

Does it? Last I read it retargets every 2 weeks or 2016 blocks, whichever is sooner.
