I'm actually thinking of changing the algorithm.  Any comments?

What happened to the old dev? What does he think about an algorithm change?

I haven't read this thread in a long time, not since Biomech, the dev with the guy in a cowboy hat avatar was in charge.

You can PM me, I've been into Earthcoin since the beginning (not here, one Earthcointalk) and have some contact left there.

I'll second this. I have some contacts still as well. I don't know who is still on the dev team, but I didn't leave on bad terms. I can probably get you in touch with some people.

Hi , I can try contact the developer.
Hi please do. check if he's still alive.
Curious what the roadmap is for earthcoin, much potential but no active team.

any update?

Hi, I messaged someone at their Facebook page around November and I got something like "How can I help you" but they didn't
reply after that.

Even the site getearthcoin is offline now, conclusion there is no team anymore
I'm actively contact team to deal with this matter.

once I get the website running, it will be at https://www.earthcoin.us

Source will be at https://github.com/earthcoin2/earthcoin

Those truly wanting to help with what I believe could be an honorable cause can PM me here and I'll give you other contact methods.

I'm leaving it scrypt for now and focusing on new wallets and code for donation deductions from block rewards.

I'm wanting to go multi-algo using Scrypt and SHA-256 soon.

I'll also run a node from my office and pay for a node hosting service.

Other (non-smartass in nature) suggestions are welcome as well as any help you can offer.

Good news! I sent your message to the old team and waiting their reply.

HEFTY1 (Heavycoin) is a good algorithm.

SB made a test of FPGA VS GPU ,get the result as follows:
1FPGA Scrypt =20pcs x R9 290
1FPGA MAX  =120pcs xR9 290
1FPGA G =500pcs x R9 290
1FPGA x11 =300pcs x R9 290
1FPGA HEFTY1 =0.5pcs x R9 290

I'm not developer, but I love earthcoin. We helped a school of the poor areas in 2016.

The EAC wallet at BTC38.com was fixed today. Deposits of the last weeks/months have been fully credited. So all looks fine there!
Good job of BTC38.com to make all working again with Earthcoin! Start trading your coins at BTC38 again.  Cheesy

That's good news Aaron finally a new wallet is in sight, I managed to compile earthcoind.exe 1.3.2 on windows a while ago but had no time yet to take the next steps. The binary is also quite large 71mb instead of arround 6mb.

Hey All, I am trying to move some EAC to the BTC38.com exchange, but they can't generate a wallet for me. It just hangs at "Loading.." Is there a better exchange or a way to overcome this issue?

Thanks!

btc38 don't accept EAC a long long time. Exchange staff always says that coin on the maintenance.

I tried to open an account at jubi but I couldn't get that to work due to language barrier... Any other exchanges I don't know about?

So where can we exchange our EACs?

btc38 says "EAC wallet malfunction, is waiting for EAC official maintenance"

and jubi has not an english version.

And who conducts the "official maintenance"? I see sometimes great volumes in btc38, but I cannot participate.

I have the same question. Still got some old earthcoin that i want to transfer to btc38. I thought that someone had indicated that the issue with btc38 regarding earthcoin was recently solved? Has anyone got an update on this?

Also is there any news on earthcoin. Is is still being developed or dead?
