still believe EAC will raise again with community supporting.

I really don't know... i hope it will, i have more then 10M coins, but the lake of movement is not good. Nobody is talking about EAC anymore. If we not watch out it will hit 1 sat. Community support? What did the community do? A lot of activity is happening on Mintpal now. EAC is still not on mintpal, DEV is even not put money behind it to get it on mintpal. To have a simple example, a few months ago, you had several pages on bitcointalk, now if you're lucky there is one post per day.

PS: earthcoin user didn't enter bitcointalk since 2 April.... They can better change

[2014 FLAGSHIP ALT] *EarthCoin* EAC +1 Community, +1 Exec Team, +1

into
[2014 FLAGSHIP ALT] *EarthCoin* EAC +1 Community, +1 Failure Team, +1 Lazy team

HOPE is the enemy of traders , and if you are investors, that mean you should not worry about this or Price, because investor HOLD for Months or Years, and as investor you also should have know that you can lose ALL of your investment.

IN ECONOMY YOU CANT HOPE , YOU MUST DO ANALYSIS TO THE FUTURE , THEN YOU MAKE DECISION AND CALCULATE THE RISK, WHEN YOU HIT BUY/SELL BUTTON YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT YOU CAN LOSE ALL OF YOUR MONEY OR PART OF IT(RISK MANAGEMENT)

We would benefit from some marketing for sure but we are not dead. Are there any other coins trading for silver that I am not aware of?
For that reason alone this coin should not be dead. I think the problem is that not many people know about this.

It is also odd to me that people are spending large amounts of BTC to pump up coins that are substantially higher priced. would it not make sense to pump a cheap alt? to take a coin from 8 sat to 16 sat to 32 say to 64 sat, instead of taking a coin like BC from 4500 to 5000? if an EAC pump happens the profits could be ridiculous, if purchased at low prices.  I am however not hoping this coins is quickly pumped and dumped. I would rather wait it out and have a gradual increase in demand as a supply decrease I think we will be halving in December.

and if ya don't know, now ya know!  Thanks.

We almost need to find a coin we could team up and combine stores. I also had the idea, if the devs either bought silver off of ATX at a fair price, or if ATX had a program of his own where instead of selling silver to the public, he sells it to miners for the EAC they mine as a payment option. A select group of miners could be recruited.  It could help relieve some of the sell pressure. If the Devs took this on as a program for selected miners the EAC could be used for further development (after reimbursement for the initial silver purchase), currently 1 oz is selling for 320,000 EAC @ earthazaar, so if the dev's bought some up, than paid an oz of silver to a miner for ie 500,000 eac coins, they would have 180,000 for further development.
Please understand I am not at all aware of the cost of mining 500,000 EAC so whether or not this is worth an OZ of silver is beyond me.

Any adjustment to this idea is more than welcome or kill it where it stands, just thinking.

EARTHCOIN CELEBRATES EARTH DAY WITH A CONTEST – EAC 700K IN PRIZES!!

To everyone in the EAC and Crypto communities,
We at Earthcoin are celebrating Earth Day today! We are holding a contest to name the smallest denomination of EAC, the EAC equivalent of a satoshi for Bitcoin.

–From now until May 7 (12 am Eastern) we will take suggestions from the crypto community here and at our other forums on what you would like Earthcoin’s smallest denomination (0.00000001 of 1 EAC) to be named.

–On May 7, all suggested names will be entered in a poll that will run until June 7. The name of the smallest denomination of 1 EAC will be selected through that online vote.

–On June 7, everyone who votes in the May 7-June 7 poll will have a chance to win EAC 700,000 in prizes! We welcome everyone to help us celebrate Earth Day by participating in this contest.

Our community has already started suggesting names on Earthcointalk, from ‘atoms’ to ‘taos’:

https://earthcointalk.org/forums/topic/name-earthcoins-smallest-denomination/

We welcome as many suggestions as possible. Any suggestions? Any questions? Post them at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580511.new#new

I notice new coins like Yellowcoin that are giving away coins for a multipool. Maybe it is time to create a donation address for investors to donate some EAC and that those EAC will be paid to the person that create a multipool for EAC. What do you think?

I've some ideas to organize a soccer game for kids and using the EAC logo to get us in the news papers, but this cost me 1000 euros, and this is really too much money for me. If the community can help a little so that 500 euros are donated from the community then i can put 500 euros of my own money into play, but again we need community help.

If community is not helping then nothing will happen, sometimes you need to risk and invest $20 to gain $100, so giving away $20 can result a bigger profit, if the coin raises again.

All those POS coins are doing pretty well. If we just stop adding new coins then the price most go out and you create a shortes of coins.
yes indeed to many coins being generated for the current demand.
I think the supply should be halved asap.

Would like to hear the opinion from the dev team about this (earthcoin account)
What are the pros and cons

I'm working on a writeup on that very subject. I will have it under the news thread before the week is out.

There are a lot of things about the concept of this coin that seem to not be well iterated to the public. I'm trying to fix that. It will be a fairly long post. And yes, I'll post it under the earthcoin account.
still waiting for the writeup ...  Roll Eyes

Hi. Can you please tell me how much it would cost to ship silver bullion to New Zealand. I tried using 'ask a question' on Earthazaar but it was having problems with the captcha system.
Thanks.

If you will order 5 or more Silver Items I will waive the Shipping & Handling Fee Internationally. If less than that I would need to charge 100K EAC Additional to help cover the cost.

Sorry for the delay. I"ve had to deal with a number of personal emergencies and a computer crash over the last few days. I've barely had time to think, let alone write. I haven't forgotten, but I did forget to update everyone as to the delay.

In the meanwhile, TamB has been taking up a lot of my slack. Thanks!
I will be much more active shortly, and yes, I'm still working on the article.

Guys, keep voting EAC on mintpal. There will be a time when EAC will be much more popular than now, and less premine money has to be used to get it to top. There are more important uses for the premine than bribing exchanges - So keep giving those free votes! Each and everyone of us can easily drop 25 votes a day, much more if you're a nerd sitting at home all day, working at home etc.
Although it is possible that mintpal will add it without winning the vote. I'm confident that EAC volume will be so high at that point.
