Hashing on a pool, but not downloading the wallet until there's more consensus regarding safety.  Too many virus hits for my liking this early.

Unless you own at least 20Mh/s I wouldn't even try to mine for now.
Without a doubt, difficulty will drop in the next few hours, as miners slowly quit this coin because of the increasing difficulty.
Early mining is supposed to be profitable due to low diff. In this case, it's certainly not.

It's showing a difficulty of 7.6. For this to be the proper difficulty with a 1 minute target we'd need the actual network hash to be hitting 500 Mh. I think it's just retargeting upwards to the max after every block and we're going to get stuck soon.

the coin is broken somehow, either that or someone just raped with scrypt asics or gpu super farm. Either way for a currency with so many coins it is already not profitable.

Back to DOGE.

other than the first 300 blocks being instamined, this seems like a fair launch.

Ok, this just looks entirely stupid now.

209 GH/s on scrypt network hashrate?

Within 30 min of launch?

No fucking way that happens by accident. WTF is going on here?

"difficulty" : 9.19145467,
"networkhashps" : 236861983302,

And even higher now??? Diff over 9 already?

Somebody fill me in on WTF is happening!

Pool up:

http://earthcoin.cryptohashery.com

Stratum with VARDIFF - 2% Fee - Pays full block reward - 50 Confirms for payment

Create an account, add some workers and aim them with cgminer:

cgminer --scrypt  -o stratum+tcp://earthcoin.cryptohashery.com:3336 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

Happy hashing!

** reduced confirms for payouts from 120 to 50 as coins are confirming just fine :-)

I am showing >3% fees on the dashboard?

Shows "Account Information You are mining at 2% pool fee and you are not donating." on my dashboard (yes, I mine on my own pool  Cheesy)

not donating to your own pool? cheap bugger :p

on a sidenote - 2% premine - giveaway thread coming? :p

Guys, there are no virus, just do a scan yourself! Or you can compile from the source code from github.

This seems stalled. Should I try the one with more workers or less workers? Are both slowing down dramatically?
