I've been mining on poolerino for about an hour now and still have 0 confirmed/unconfirmed. Did the same on VirCurPool and got 100 unconfirmed after 15min. Anybody else having problems on poolerino?
Yeah, I left that one. Got a small payout, but am getting much better results on VirCurPool. Don't think there is anything wrong with poolerino. Just not enough miners to find blocks.

I mined this a bit but the weirdness around finding blocks in pools made me quit. Seeing close to 3000% shares compared to expected constantly is odd...

Indeed. Beautiful coin. Horrible launch. 2% premined...

After 1 hour mining @vircurpool with 730 kh/s I only got 1k EAC. I think that's a bit low, my estimate EAC/day shows 60k. What do you get there and which kh/s do you have?

Thank you all again for your continued patience while this normalizes. The scrutiny and critiques are important for us.
I'd like to open discussion for a few posts with those with experience re what could have happened during our launch - as to prevent future coins or others that maintain them from having this happen to them. Had a very productive convo with the dev about the art of crypto sabotage from competing coins/pools/miners/scammers/pr stunts/etc etc that he experienced his last time in the market, and we're already starting to see.
Dev has gone over the code many times, it's par. Nothing was out of the ordinary yesterday compared to any other coins launch except the reaction from the market.
So - it might not matter, but I'm an analytical person and would like to understand more. What 'else' could have happened yesterday either by design or by an unforeseen that may have caused the sync/retarget/etc issue? One huge warehouse rig setup hitting us first/fast? Other coin owners discovering a way to sabotage a launch/somehow screw the diff crazy high and leave? Did we simply do way too much pre-promo and it suffered from a bombardment of people as of the moment the client was released? ??
Would like to hear your .02, and learn a bit more about the crazy tech side of the backend.
I think things went relatively well. Everyone just wanted to get in on this coin from the beginning. I think the pre-launch thread was the way to go. Difficulty seems to have stabilized. Some serious hash being thrown at it right now. For the coin's stability it would be best to get the hash evened out among pools. Right now Vircupool has Pool Hashrate: 640.540 MH/s. Network Hashrate: 578.329 MH/s. Dangerous situation if who ever is running VircurPool wanted to fork the chain.

I am at Vircurpool too and yes I am not very happy with the payouts either. And how the heck pool hashrate is higher than network hashrate? Network Hashrate: 525.951 MH/s Pool Hashrate: 644.455 MH/s

Are the estimate EAC/day same as your real EAC-rewards? Hell no, vircurpool says 90k per day at 1100khash but only got 3K for mining 5h... wtf is wrong ??

Right, because there couldn't possibly be a ton of new users over the last week just getting into cryptocurrency. *sarcasm*

The coin is a scam. Don't waste power and time. There should be enough coins to mine, but the output is way lower than doge (and there is much, much more hashpower). If you can't mine 50-100k coins on the first day with a 2-10MH/s Rig with a coin that has a limit of 13.5 Billion coins, something is wrong.

< 100 BTC is not worth mentioning. Poor souls will always remain poor. Don't miss the failtrain.

Earthcoin giveaway started on Twitter, just received some coins, only for early birds. I love this coin, I think it has a great future. No problems mining, with regular payments.

Putting the pre-mine to one side... I have no idea why any coin developer that is serious about his/her coin does not have a suite of apps ready at launch, at least an e-wallet, android app, iphone app, paper wallets to start. I like the concept of the EarthCoin with or without the pre-mine since it fits my image as an organic vegetable and fruit farmer and seller, but how I am or my customers ever to be able to make any use of this coin without basic e-commerce tools. I am hoping the dev team use some of those 270,000,000 coins to finance a suite of apps and tools, the sooner, the better and not waste them on giveaways and useless promotions. If the admin and dev want to contact me for ideas and concepts, do so by PM, I will be happy to use EarthCoin in my businesses, starting tomorrow. Actually, this is tailor made for my business and costumers... Buy this.... . with this... Brilliant!!! +1 good post. We'll be in touch and yes we'd like to have apps/tools however this industry moves SO fast, that we feel it's beneficial for all if some of this stuff is done by the actual community - and that the community SEES that it's done by them. Also - in keeping with the thought of being decentralized, I don't think we are going to have an 'official' forum, facebook, twitter, etc. as to leave it to the public and be transparent without a way to centrally influence, censor, etc. and to protect us from anyone claiming they are the 'official' anything on the coins behalf, there isn't one . < Still talking about all this and the team isn't big so we hope the community does indeed both give it life/light, and self polices vs looking to central points of in-house systems.

For those concerned about the 2% premine, there have been 6 million coins found already in just the time that I have been watching the blocks today. If the current support continues or grows, the premine will not be much of an issue especially with the giveaways that they have already started.
I do think they probably would have been better off doing 1% in the eyes of the community but oh well. Lets hope they use them to build a future for this coin.
