OK, my account got activated "by itself". When I try to mine I get "Probing for an alive pool" before cgminer shuts down some moments later.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

i'm new to all cryptocurrency stuff and currently i'm cpu mining with i7  for several days,
in all pools it shows about ~21kh/s-40kh/s    witch is calculated as 2,323.415-6,000 coin a day but in practice i've got only about 500 coins in the last 3 days, so it is more like 100+ coins a day...

does these calculations false or am i missing something or doing something wrong, or am i using the wrong pool? and should i switch to another?

thanks

Devs, I have a feature request.  Do you think you'd be able to add a trade feature in the wallet that would allow 2 people to exchange earthcoin for other currencies once both parties input the correct values?  It would eliminate scamming and be a very welcomed innovation.

Now it is already pretty obvious that pathced code works only for the one who made the patch and all other pools are still doing horrible.
I wonder why.  Grin

http://eac.hackshardgaming.net (Registration Closed) Now mining @ 204 Mhash!
http://eac.eu.hackshardgaming.net (Registration OPEN!) Now mining @ 81 Mhash!

Lets keep up the good work guys! between the two pulls at the time of this post we had 25 out of 50 blocks meaning we generated half of the blocks.

EU is currently mining around 6 to 7 blocks per hour
Meanwhile US is mining 17 to 18 blocks per hour.

Lets get this EU Poll up and running! Its hash can go much higher then my US machine since it is now dedicated to ONLY Earthcoins.
Hi,
For some reason I can't login to my account.
I see this:
"Unable to login: Account is locked. Please contact site support."
Please unlock my account so I can get the remaining coins (username: itsik78)

Thanks

Has anyone ever succeeded restoring a Linux wallet.dat to a Windows -QT client and it worked for them?  Are the wallet.dat files interoperable?

Oh and if anyone finds an update for the (BUGGY as #%(*&!@!) earthcoin linux daemon -- would appreciate the tip greatly!

With 700kH/s it says I should get 20k/day. I got  33k on 8 hours, what the hell Cheesy

http://gyazo.com/12e45eb24735b2592f4e5d3b795cb38c (not going 100% atm since I'm using comp too)
http://gyazo.com/0bf8e16de8bc3319815f566ca9ff888f (Pool opened tonight)

http://gyazo.com/3e8d549b565997f0d48f269059d2288e (Dashboard doesnt show the correct hashrate always)
http://gyazo.com/f1bc4058fb687c069fbd00dd1ff9582e

It's not a joke.

Same thing happened on saturday, when it was launched. I was gonna get 20k/day, I got 10k in 1 hour.

EDIT: Deviant's pools are the best pool I've ever mined on. I started mining on his LOT-pool and now I'm mining on his EAC too. He's awesome!

I sent a direct PM to DEVIANTTWO, asking him for updated code -- hashes should definitely be spread around without creating a single pool monopoly, the earthcoind client is buggy and the source with a fix is in the hands of select few.  We are definitely missing blocks -- even after recompiling and updating to DEVIANTTWO's updated version last night: https://github.com/Devianttwo/earthcoin.
