Here is the fix for the rampant "500 Error" that some pools are still getting.

First you should probably be using:

The key setting (due to I would assume earthcoind supporting messaging) is this in the /stratum-mining/conf/config.py file:

COINDAEMON_SHA256_TX = 'yes'

According to ahmed_bodi, that feature enables the processing of scrypt transaction messages, the block_hashes will then be correctly processed and the earthcoin daemon will accept them as valid.

Anyways, I figured in the spirit of fairness all pools should have access to this, not just a select few.  Also thanks to my miners on earth.vircurpool.com for sticking things out while I figured this out.

And thanks to ahmed_bodi for his direction.

There is something really wrong with this coin.

Earthcoin is a scrypt coin which supports transaction messages.  Ahmed_bodi maintains a fork of the stratum-mining code base and he added TX message support for SHA256 coins.  Later transaction messaging for SCRYPT was added.  That setting enables it for both SCRYPT and SHA256.

Make sense now?

But this patch just reduce percentual shares from >1000% to something smaller. Anyway, even with this patch, average share is cca 200% and this is not good!!!

And another thing, someone must clarify, why network hashrate oscilate so much. It is from beginning of this coin. It oscilate so much cca 50%. So sometimes sum of all pools is higher than network hashrate.

But for this there must be working dev with that premined 270M!!!!!
