Yeah I almost bought those acorns, sounded to good to be true. Just pop them into slots and they make all my existing GPUs so much better! Glad my skepticism won out in the end.. I guess it could be possible that they'd work with proper software, but I just don't see how.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

What miner do you use ?

because i have tested all configs on my rx580 farm and i'm not profitable on any of them.

I got 915h/s for 106W per card on Monero it is not profitable with my electricity cost :

https://whattomine.com/coins/101-xmr-cryptonightr?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=915.0&p=106.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.15&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

At 15 cents / kwh you can pretty much write off being profitable unless something new shows up or another "big price jump" happens.

Since I don't have the 1080Ti in my farm, I've never actually used "the pill" and I was wondering what exactly happened with "OhGodAGirl"?
Can someone sum it up? Did she end up scamming certain people? What does she have to do with ProgPOW?

I always assumed she was wolf0's girlfriend or wife since his software in the past had the prefix "OhXXXX". Wolf0's been pretty legit and has a good reputation and such. Many of the algo's he's released for free.

Before the Pill, the eth hash is about 35MH/s. After the pill, the hash rate is about 50MH/s. It is for my 1080Ti.

to be honest I don't know how it fell apart  or who should be blamed.  It fell apart  yes

eth tanked like a mad dog most gpu coins were killed off  by asics and by fpga's

whether she is the main villain  or a victim or someone in the middle I don't know.

My info is lite I am not in any inner circles of info sharing.

I mine some BCI  using progpow  thats about it.

She started "Minerority" a loose group of mostly anonymous geeks around the world and promised dirt cheap hosting for FPGAs, as well as allot of other code that was never delivered. There's allot of crap that can't be proven (at least not by me) that took place over 6 months or so.  What is 100% known is that she eventually said that Minority was closed and never delivered the hosting and somehow over $600,000 of hosting fees disappeared.  Either she outright stole it, or was truly dumb enough to leave it all in Eth.... either way it's gone and she acts like nothing ever happened.  The last part is what pisses me off the most, combined with her occasionally showing up on Discord to troll people and then purging he Discord and Twitter accounts.  She certainly does not act like someone with nothing to hide and there are lots of reasons to be very very wary of anything she is involved in.

Is she an outright thief or just an egomaniac manipulator with dubious moral character?  I don't know, but I do know that I want nothing to do with her.

that is what I don't know  did she simply hold the eth and get crushed if so she is stupid and pretty much a victim of bitmain's asic war on gpu's

or did she convert to cash and scam then she is a villain.

if she was a good guesser and dumped the eth to cash she could of hosted everyone and they would have lost  but less then they did.

if she was a good guesser and dumped the eth to cash and run she is simply a thief.

sql and acorn helped her collect by saying we are a real company  it lent her more legitimacy .  so my guess is

she
sql/acorn
bitmain
inno
multiple coin developers.
all have some blame for the mess.

we are too far out of the loop to know

Past lovers    = Judy
Present lover = Judy
Future lovers = Judy
