well thats good, I got a bit less, maybe 0.05btc total unfortunately. I still hope to play with an Acorn, maybe next year after seeing the results. I just ordered 6 new 470s (about 170usd in your money) which is a good price here for brand new. 12 month ROI but I got 4 amps left on my PDU so might as well.

You guys are lucky that the value of BTC remained the same or else it would of been another Butterfly Labs/KnC Miner scenario where the price of BTC skyrocketed and they ended up issuing refunds with respect to the USD price paid.
However I have a feeling that if BTC tanked all those companies would issue refunds in BTC, basically whichever is less.

It's an Nest X2G. I clicked on the link and zoomed in, and you can clearly see the USB ports on the left side of the image. When I get my Nest X4 and CLE215+ FPGAs I will post some pics of the build and some screen-shots of the miner in action. My plan is combine the Nest+FPGAs with my two hydro 1080TIs (Thanks Phil!) to mine altcoins.

No mining at the moment.

I think I could do at least 2 maybe 3 nests with acorn 215+ and 1080ti's

@citronick, you're still mining V7 on monero ocean? How's it going? MoneroV8 is no go for my RX series because of the hashrate drop and higher consumption...so right now I'm doing eth on ethermine, but I'm thinking of switching to monero.

MoneroV8 ended up not a good option for me - see my last post - the devs had overdone things for miners - less hash, more power.... reminds me of ETH mess. So even monero.ocean is out for me, due to power constraints. All this was a blessing in disguise, I continued mining XHV (Haven) since below a dollar, and cashed out about 1100 coins when it touched $2.40s recently. Decent pool at "haven.miner.rocks"

No 1) paid most or all refunds ask for 2) some fpga's have been shipped 3) acorns and acorn nest should ship before fri 2nd But all in all still somewhat of a mess. Bringing a new product to market like this is exceptionally difficult, so I'm not really surprised.

Claymore gives me 4950 per rig and xmrig gets me 3800-3900 with the same overclocking settings on SMOS. It's odd.. For now I'm sticking with ethermine, not a big earn but hoping the price will go up in a few months..

V8 is good for my: threadripper 1920x Ryzen 1800x Ryzen 2700x they all seem to be earning 2x the usd value that they used to earn.

You might want to give SRBMiner a try. I am getting nearly the same hashrate and just slightly more power consumption than xmr-stak 2.5.1 was doing on CNv7, and way better on both parameters than it did on CNv8. ANN thread is here in the mining section and fairly active.

I would do that, but I'm with smOS...
Not a very good time for AMD rigs over smOS right now...
I mean I tried to edit the config.txt on Xmr-Stak with higher intensity with no luck.. I think that is the issue with my low hashrate compared with claymore-xmr hashrate.

ETH is still more profitable vs the rest, even with crypto coins this bad. I am waiting for Prohashing.com to finish their testing of Cryptonite pool so that I can continue running my farms with lowest power consumption, and auto-convert to the coins I want to hold, without having to go through the usual lengthy blockchain confirmation, additional exchange fees etc.

Interesting this prohashing pool. So, I can mine ethereum there with my AMD rigs and be paid in whatever coin I want... sweet. In your previous experience, regarding the hashrate, coin you mined fees etc, what was the best coin to exchange into? I mean a well-known coin, like btc, ltc, eth, etc, btg, zec etc.
You know they will add cryptonite? What would it be? V7 or V8? If it will be V7 will be nice for me, because I can still use Claymore-XMR which is still compatible with V7..

The devs of Prohashing are very active (2 brothers). They have been around a long time and worked hard to get the prohashing working -- it was unstable when it started several back. There are currently testing the planned CN pool to work with CN8 and C7 coins.... but in the forum you can see that they are busy for the ZEC upgrade tonight. I have a few P106 rigs that mines ETH fulltime with low intensity for now, and Prohashing converts them to BinanceCoin and auto withdraw to Binance. This way, we can point "irrelevant" ASICs like L3+ or D3s to Prohashing to "mine" our choice of coins - avoiding those investment turning into door-stoppers. In summary, any old ASICs (as long as they are not power hoggers) can be revived and sent to work at Prohashing gulag camp...... and get any coin we want (well almost any coin)
